"Exploiting your insecurities"

I have had my CV personally reviewed by human beings and professionals in my field very recently and know from feedback what should be on there. I uploaded my CV to CV-library and TopCV was touted for a free review. I did not think anything of it but the feedback received and language used makes me realise that AI bot chat has been used and it most certainly targeting your insecurities. The feedback itself was utter nonsense, from types of word I used to how they phrased what needs to change. At the end of the day this is to get you to part with your money for a CV to help improve your chances of getting a job. Having worked in recruitment of people to my team and engaging with numerous recruitment companies I cannot recommend TopCV. If you have not made a CV in the past then I can see how this would possibly help you but there are much more ethical ways to do this.

UPDATE: Having a read through the reviews it’s clear it’s not professionally or ethically done. The same comments come up, below example is consistent “ fooled!
"I think your design is visually uneven. I'd like to see your document more polished, something more fitting of your experience level”, “That said, your use of bullets is great!”

Seeing the reply I got and the ones received by others saying they don’t have the details on record just shows the passive contempt this company has for people

I’m not happy. When they do the review, they only copy and paste the text you send and write it according to your needs or they give you the work full of spelling errors. I paid more than 200 euros to receive unexpected spelling errors.

As someone reasonably senior but wanted to use this to improve how the ATS recruitment tools scan my CV I was very disappointed, first draft was pretty terrible, changed things to make them very generic and bland sounding and also repeated a sentence almost exactly in the next line make this sound really unprofessional.

Instead of a well written and competently put together CV, I received a CV of absolutely disgusting quality.

My 10 years of experience somehow turned into 4 years of experience, and everything else was considered "additional experience" and made as invisible as possible. When I politely asked to mention the 10 years of experience in the summary - I was told that it was already there, which I absolutely disagree with.

In addition, out of 10 companies where I submitted your CV I received 10 rejections. That is a 0% response rate. The response rate of my original CV was 40%
