"AVOID THIS COMPANY"

Two weeks after I sent in my sample, I emailed to find out what was taking so long getting my dog’s MDR1 results, they responded that they just got the sample and it would take a week. So I emailed a week later and they said they already sent the results but I never got them and after repeated attempts to email them they still have not responded.
***UPDATE*** I did finally receive the results of the DNA test. It was legit but only use if things are seriously NOT time sensitive.

"YOU HAVE FAILED!"

A month after I sent my sample, I get an email that the wrong address was put on my return envelope. So, I will never get any results. I told them I want a refund and that they have failed. Who waits over 6 weeks after you sold a kit to a customer that now is the best time to tell them to send the sample to another address? Now i have to play the waiting game to get my refund and then try and buy a kit from a different company. I would like to know if my dog has allergies and what he might be allergic to. Retailers have done nothing but fail customers over and over all the while price gouging the consumer.

"This was garbage"

This was garbage. I spent $120 to test the "genetic age" of my rescue dog. They also did a breed test. I had had my dog for 5 years already and she was at least 3 when we got her, so she's at least 8. I always suspected she was older than that though. First, the breed results arrived. My dog is very clearly part terrier (previous DNA test showed 25% Staffordshire terrier). Their breed analysis didn't show any terrier. Then the "genetic age" came back with her as 3 years old. I complained about all of this to them and explained that either a mistake had been made with her sample or else it's just a bad product. They stood by their results. My dog is at least 8 years old and because of the trauma and stress she has endured, I would expect her genetic age to be even older. I can't tell you how much I wanted to repeat the test using a different address to see if the results would be the same, but it's definitely not worth another $120 to prove them wrong. Especially since they probably wouldn't refund any money. STAY AWAY from this product. It's garbage. Also, I would just like to point out that telling someone that their dog has a "genetic age" of 3 is meaningless. She certainly doesn't look or behave like a young dog. If it had come back with a genetic age of 11, I would've thought "ok, that makes sense" and I would have had a better idea of years remaining.

"Cat Sensitivity Test Changed My Cat's Life"

I purchased the Easy DNA cat sensitivity test and I have quite literally been able to change my cat's life. He was found several years ago covered in skin sores and giant patches all over his body that was scratched raw. He has been cycled through countless food options throughout his life, but nothing seemed to work 100% for him. He had his ups and downs for years but was never fully sore-free and 100% fur. Vets were never able to find exactly what was wrong and just took money without giving answers. I came across this test in August and was hesitant to spend nearly $100, but it was the best decision ever. Once I got the results, I have to say, I was a little bit confused as to where to go from here, I started eliminating all proteins that were in red (sensitive) and yellow (mild) but it did not seem to work fully, there was an improvement but the issue was not solved. After looking at his results over and over again and trying new foods, it finally clicked, gelatin. Per google "Gelatin is a protein obtained by boiling skin, tendons, ligaments, and/or bones with water." My cat is literally allergic/sensitive to cooked meat. That's when I started transitioning to a raw food diet. Ingredient lists don't always state "gelatin" and that's what I was looking for. I started transitioning to raw at the beginning of November, it is now mid January and my cat is finally 100% sore free, doesn't scratch himself obsessively, and all his fur has fully grown in, for the first time of his life (he is about 7). I could not have done it without getting the results from this DNA test. Highly recommend.

"I did the premium dog dna testing and…"

I did the premium dog dna testing and the food suggestion Package. This was the best thing I could do for my dog. I wish that I did this when I first got her. She’s a hairless dog and is known to have many issues with allergies. I needed to change her food, but I didn’t know how without having this specific knowledge. So I ordered this kit, which delivered quickly. The kit was easy to do. They let me know that they received it and the results came back quickly and I was really surprised with some of her results. I then ordered the food suggestion, which was incredibly helpful. It gave me many choices and I further checked and researched her pics, which I found to be credible pics that I was satisfied with. This information was so helpful. I’ve begun to switch her food and she loves it. I was so excited with this information I shared it with my friend and sister, who are both looking into the kits. This is great information to have on any new dog your welcoming into your family… or a dog that you have that has issues with eating. The support I received from this company was priceless and I highly recommend them. Ty, ty!

"If i could do DNA testing over again I…"

If i could do DNA testing over again I would for many reasons. This company outsources everything. There is nothing personal about it. They have forms that make no sense to the type of testing you're doing. They charge $130 for internationally shipping for a 3 ounce kit and don't pay for return shipping. They are not accredited by BBB nor can I find 100s of positive reviews on this company. I feel like they are fraudulent and not at all transparent. They send out kits to the Philippines with English Instructions even though they have an Easy-DNA lab in the philippines. Then they have someone in the philippines (alleged son) send it back to the USA. Why not ship to philippine lab. If you have labs all over the world why can't you make it make sense? Nothing makes sense to me. I could go on and on. I would go with DNA diagnostic services if I could do it over again.
