I had my platinum wash basins delivered Nov 19, straight away I knew there was something wrong with the design clients smler than 5ft3 couldn't get their heads to reach the basins themselves. I spoke to Tracey who tried to help with the tilt but this didn't resolve the issue, I resigned myself there was nothing to be done and that was that. I bought a boaster cushion to help clients get to the basins to have their hair washed. After lock down I called SEC to ask about another matter, whilst on the phone the lady asked what I thought of my basins. I told her I hated them and the troubles I had been having, she stopped me in my tracks by saying she would replace them and that the basins had been redesigned.My new basins were delivered free of charge and the old ones collected by a lovely South African man (sorry I never got his name) who carried them in and out. I found out that i was talking to the owner and she kept her word. Thank you so much the new designed basins are great. 😊VALENCIA SALON

"DISAPPOINTED ISN'T EVEN THE WORD"
Whilst their service was friendly and lovely Jade was outstanding but when it came down to us canceling our order because of the pandemic their customer service department referred us to the website and pointed out their terms and conditions, which basically allowed them to keep our deposit. No one told us that once cancelled they are entitled to keep the deposit. We asked why they did not point this out at the point of sale, and we were told that they dont have too. Wow we were stunned, The country was on lock down yet they point out terms and conditions and they also reduce me to tears - like every other business was struggling to survive lockdown and keep everyone in a job. You were helped by the government as much as the rest of us. We tried to discuss other options but they were not interested in helping. Was sent on a massive goose chase told to send in an email to the Sales Manager and never ever got a reply we have learnt a valuable lesson to read reviews first!

"Never got Salon Cart"
I spoke with someone about my Salon/cart not coming he said they out of stock & they never toke money out my account. (Sounded very unprofessional)But hen could not look my transaction Up under my name ,When clearly the transaction went thru on my end. I wil have to tract thru my bank, I wish I had of seen reviews first

"Massively disappointed"
Massively disappointed. I purchased a section, basin and styling chair. I couldn't go in the check due to Covid-19 and was raining so we loaded up and went. When I got home I found a crack in the basin, the sides of the leather had been stapled and is a huge health and safety problem. The section is OK but was absolutely covered in hair. The chair is filthy, wonky and stained with hairspray. When I phoned to complain I was told SOLD AS SEEN so I contacted trading standards and a solicitor I was advised to give them another chance to rectify the situation. I was promised a new styling Chair last week and a solution for the stapled basin seat and guess what...... ABSOLUTELY NOTHING so I'm taking legal action. Absolutely fuming

"I was fuming on Thursday"
I was fuming on Thursday. Never again willi use Salon Equipment Centre. I was recommended these by a lot of people for.a backwash unit. I paid £70 for delivery and over £500 for the unit itself. Had to wait weeks for delivery then when it finally turned up on Thursday, i asked the bloke to drop it where i wanted it and i was gobsmacked when he said sorry but it was only put down for a 1 man delivery and its kerbside only. He was ok and it wasn't his fault, so didn't have a go it him, but said theres nothing i can do. How on earth was i meant to get a backwash unit in a shop on my own. Luckily my hubby was off and he had to come down otherwise it would have been on the kerb/path all day until he could help me.
When i phoned SEC i had a right go at them. I don't pay £70 for delivery for them to drop it off at the kerb.
I told the woman on the phone i was going to leave a negative review and you know what she said to me, her exact words. " we won't be held to ransom by you and thats all we offer kerbside delivery. Not a happy bunny at all

"PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY"
PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. WE ORDERED OVER 4K WORTH OF EQUIPMENT FROM THEM WHICH AFTER JUST ONE MONTH HAS GOT WEAR MARKS. SUPPOSEDLY WE HAD A 1 YEAR WARRANTY BUT THE COMPANY WON'T EVEN ANSWER MY MESSAGES, EMAILS, PHONE CALLS OR LIVE CHATS TO BE ABLE TO USE THIS 1 YEAR WARRANTY. WE ARE A NEW BUSINESS THAT OPENED 3 WEEKS BEFORE THE PANDEMIC HIT, WE HAVE HAD NO FINANCIAL HELP AND ON TOP OF THIS THIS AWFUL COMPANY WON'T HELP US AT ALL! I WISH I COULD UPLOAD PHOTOS ON HERE TO JUST SHOW THE AWFUL QUALITY. HOWEVER, I WILL BE UPLOADING THEM ON GOOGLE SO LOOK THERE. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY MONEY!

"Very poor quality of furnishing"
Very poor quality of furnishing, very poor customer service. We spent on a lease £10,000 pounds with this company. When you go and choose your furniture they are helpful but as soon as you complain no one is interested.
The furniture definitely did not meet our standards and was full of scratches and faults. We simply asked them to come and inspect but no one could be bothered. The problem we have is that this is on a lease for 5 years but definitely the furniture will not last that long...
The lease company is simply not interested and neither is the furniture company.
After nearly 5 months three chairs have been replaced which were sent with a driver who took pictures of the existing furniture to show his company but nothing has happened.....
I was told that if I wanted to exchange the furniture with a more expensive brand that would be acceptable.
- very poor furniture only looks good in their show room as it is displayed in dim lighting screwed into walls.... to make it feel heavy and look attractive....
Trading standards have been informed and lease company has also been informed but it appears that no one is bothered ....
Up to date the manager of the company has not even bothered to get in touch we are always referred to Tracy the despatch lady who just can’t be bothered....
