"Useless customer service"
If I have a chance, I would rate them 0 or negative stars.To begin with CWS is an expensive filter solution and there are other good market providers and service is another bombshell.. Just had a filter change and right after the change (following the technician instructions of removing water and so forth) we changed our fish water tank and all the fishes were dead. Tried to reach the customer service to get some technician sent home to test the filters and water purity and their response is low level and they keep assuring its all grand. No its not CWS.. Please reach out to me if you settle this amicably before I escalate further.

Filter caused a leak!!!! Our new floor is ruined , we had a filter fitted the technician didn’t tighten the 3 way valve correctly / over a week later we noticed our floor was damp when we investigated this we seen the valve in the back my husband then stopped the leak
I couldn’t get through on the phone so I emailed and ask someone to call me urgently
I received no call so on my lunch break the next day I called Celtic water
I was told that I got an email two days after install to check for leaks and if didn’t
That it was my fault it leaked
I was also told the filter is no longer in warranty because my husband stopped the leak
It should not be my responsibility to check if a techs work is done correctly
My 6k floor is ruined and I plan on taking legal action !!!
Avoid at all costs !!!

"Very unhappy with their service"
I'm very unhappy with the filter service I received by the technician. I asked for the AquaCalcium mineraliser to be removed when I booked the service with the office, and I also clearly asked the technician when he was doing the service to remove the Aquacalcium mineraliser.
What did he do instead? He installed not only one but two calcium mineralisers in its place, he rotated one of the mineralisers so I couldn't see the label name.
So there were now two mineralisers adding excessive calcium to the water when I wanted none. He removed it after I pointed it out, said he wasn't informed by the office...even though I asked him 5 minutes earlier I wanted it removed completely.
I understand that with the nature of working with water/plumbing that things will get wet but a simple plastic basin would have gone a long way in preventing all the water from pissing on my kitchen floor and under my kitchen unit.
After he left I inspected the job again. What now?He didn't install the carbon filter.
He contacted me again after I informed the office, when I said he didn't fit the carbon filter and that there was still a calcium mineraliser in the system he said they're the same thing, huh?
He said he was 15 minutes away and couldn't return to do the 2 minute job today, he had a petulant attitude during that call towards me.
Additionally, I originally asked him to change my existing filter tap to a different which was originally included in the CWS RO filter system( I regrettably opted to buy a more expensive additional tap at time of install).
He called the office to ask them about this when he was getting the filters from his van, he said it would cost €60 to change the tap even though I had the part.
In hindsight, I presume the office quoted this figure because they thought I was asking to buy a new tap and have it installed???
What was I charged for this lovely service? €170, what a ripoff. I was originally quoted €160 for the service when I booked a few weeks ago.
The customer service representative kindly offered to replace the missing carbon filter by an alternative technician next week.
If I was able to change the filters myself it would cost 90€ for the filters from CWS regardless if I want mineralisers or not which doesn't make sense, if I don't want a nonessential mineraliser it should be cheaper because your getting less filters. I have bad knees so I opted for the service.
So not alone are they making massive margins on the filters which are very cheap to buy wholesale at the quantity they purchase, they're also charging crazy money for an at-most 15 minute service. Needless say I'll be attempting to source filters from other suppliers which will fit the plastic push fittings.
Another issue I have with this company is that they offer a pressure booster pump if your mains water pressure supply isn't good enough. However, from what I seen at install they don't test the Bar pressure. Turned on the kitchen tap, "yeah plenty of pressure"... that's very poor practice for testing water pressure, I presume they do this to most people.
The reality is that booster pumps increase the RO system efficiency, thus you waste significantly less water during the filtration process = better the environment and reduced water costs if you pay for water, and the booster pump reduced the time it takes to fill the storage tank because of the increased efficiency.
I encourage everyone seeking to get a RO filtration fitted to insist the booster pump is installed and wired, I suspect you'll meet resistance and be reassured it's not required because it adds time to the install job.
Again with the price, if you need a booster pump they charge the same price regardless if they say you need a booster pump or not.
I understand businesses have to make profits and pay employees but this is excessive. The phrase 'rip-off Ireland' comes to mind with this company.

Avoid! I have this system for a year now and it's not remove limescale at all. I tried contact them but no answer. Now I know why they don't have they reviews on fb or main page.

Avoid!!We went with CWS for our water softener. Not worth a damn, everything covered in limescale, kettle is done with vinegar probably every 3 weeks. Neighbour went with another company, same product/price point and they have no limescale. Emailed them twice now about it, saying that we were not happy with it and never got a reply on either occasion. Lesson Learned. Do your research when buying but avoid this crowd!!
