Great service! Initially I spoke to Nicky, who then arranged a date for the survey to take place. On that date the surveyor Dayle attended. Dayle was very thorough and knowledgeable. After the survey was complete and samples taken to the lab, we were sent a full and in-depth report. The whole service was very professional.

"Booked a sample survey a week in…"
Booked a sample survey a week in advance, which was confirmed by email, and the nobody showed up. Tried ringing to find out what was happening, with two separate numbers, and nobody answered.
At no point did anyone contact me to inform me that there may be a problem getting to me, or that my appointment needed to be cancelled.
They clearly don't want any more business, so don't bother giving it to them. Avoid

"An extremely unpleasant experience"
After our survey we had a tradesman carrying out some work and he found some asbestos that wasn't found in our survey. It was found in a place where the surveyor had looked during his visit to the property to carry out the survey. We were unhappy that we paid over £300 and the survey was not fully completed. So we complained to 0800asbestos and were put on the phone with a senior manager who was very rude, shouting down the phone to us and threating to report us to building control (for an unknown reason!) . An extremely unpleasant experience for us and I can not recommend at all.

"A cancelled quote that wouldn’t stop"
Phoned for a quote, they offered to beat a quote I received, and requested I put a placeholder on the inspection date. In the end I didn’t go with them but did confirm the cancellation with them over the phone, no money was exchanged. They hadn’t hung up the phone properly when they called me a t***. Despite this someone called again regarding the booking, which I reconfirmed cancelled. On the date of the cancelled inspection, the inspector called me up to say they were going to be late, I was in a meeting and didn’t realise this was the cancelled inspection. When I realised after the meeting and phoned up the inspector they had been booked in by the company despite me cancelling and not paying. All of this on a property I was in the process of buying during the pandemic so requiring the vendors consent, which they must not have sought.

"Questionable customer service"
Questionable customer service. Booked the survey no issue. Was told that will need to pay £50 deposit. Also told the balance will be due on receipt of report.
Someone calls up to take the depost, says it's £100. I said no i was told it's £50, accepted it's £50.
The surveyor turns up. Advises us should get report the next day as sending sample out that same day. Excellent! 5* for this!
Next day get an email from Sylvia sending invoice over asking for payment. I had emailed back saying was told payment due on receipt of report. Sends me an email back dripping with attitude saying will get report once paid basically. I pay by bank transfer.
Send on 3 emails saying all paid then chasing when will get the report as not heard anything back. She was quick to respond to demand money but not so fast responding to you once you have paid. She says report will be produced when money is cleared, should be some time next day (!). So they go from you will get report then need to pay to pay then get report to now pay and maybe will get report some time the next day. I did get the report on the day I paid (5* for that) but I think Sylvia needs to re-think her attitude. 3* because of Sylvia.

"Very professional and reliable service!"
I used 0800 Asbestos to clarify the presence of asbestos in our roof. I received a quote and date and time for the test very fast. The tester was on time and very professional. I received my report on time and was very impressed with the level of service i received from the team at 0800 Asbestos. I would certainly recommend them in the future. "Check your reports!"
We opted for a whole property asbestos inspection, unfortunately when we received the report it was evident that not all of the property was inspected. When we raised this issue with the company they agreed that they had accidentally missed a part of the property and would have to go back.
Once they had organised to go back they called us to let us know that unfortunately they ran over and would have to reorganize for the next day. the next day they did not turn up without even a phone call to let us know. It was until I asked for my money back did the rest of the property finally get inspected. Overall i'm disappointed with the customer service in which I received as it shouldn't take asking for your money back to get a job done.

Quick quote, they were able to carry out the survey on the same afternoon after speaking to them, the certificate was ready the next day and they were by far the best value I could find after obtaining 4 or 5 quotes. Would highly recommend! Thank you very much
