"1940s/1950s Black Tie"

Mickael recently crafted for me a very high quality tie in a unique shape. The process started started with me studying the online catalog and finding a few shapes that seemed interesting. I reached out asking about actual measurements of certain models. That started a dialog about what dimensions I didn’t feel worked for me and also how to achieve a 40/50s aesthetic. From there Mickael steered me away from some of catalog and mentioned a new shape he had just created for another customer. So he recommended the shape and going with something unlined since that’s the way it was in 40/50s. I specified that I wanted a fixed length without an adjustor and at that point we were ready for the order. So basically a couple weeks of talking back and forth. Although neither of us shared reference pictures, we each understood the other and result was the perfect tie for my outfit.
