I purchased some hiking boots only to receive an email the following day saying shipping was going to be an extra 60 pounds or did I want to have the order cancelled. I cancelled the order as with the extra shipping it was no longer cheaper to buy the boots from Jackson sports. I had paid 473 dollars and was only refunded 457. You should fix your website to display correct shipping amount and refund me the full amount I paid.

postage was incorrect at point of sale and I was told post purchase that the postage was actually 200% more expensive.
Still waiting for the refund to credit into my credit card account.

We ordered items online and paid for the quoted shipping, only to receive an email that we had to pay more for shipping or cancel our order. Ultimately, I had to cancel, and they refunded me, but less than I initially paid; I assume that is because of transaction fees and exchange rates. In the end, I lost $30 into space over something I had no control over. It was their mistake for not calculating shipping correctly at checkout. It was also disappointing since I emailed ahead to confirm they could ship to my country, so I had no reason not to trust the checkout amount. I just gave away money for nothing. Surely the party responsible for the cancellation should be the one losing money?
