"This shipping company really needs to do better"

I am extremely disappointed with this shipping company. My package arrived with significant damage to the contents, and it was clear that the item had not been handled with care. When I reached out to customer service (Vera), all I got was lies for a whole week she would lie about calling me back but never did she was unresponsive and failed to offer any real help or compensation for the damaged goods. This was a completely frustrating experience, and I would strongly advise against using this shipping service if you want to ensure your items arrive in one piece.
I had a truly awful experience with this shipping company, and the customer service was the worst part of it all.

This shipping company really needs to do better

"Poor delivery service"

The items were scheduled for delivery before Christmas 2024, yet as of January 13, 2025, they have not been delivered. I have been calling the UK office daily to track my shipment, and they continuously tell me they cannot reach the Ghana manager, promising to call me back, but they never do. The Ghana office frequently provides misleading information, stating that the goods are in the van with the driver and will be delivered when it’s our turn. This level of service is unacceptable. I strongly urge others to avoid using their services, as they are unreliable, and the Ghana team is particularly unprofessional.

"The company is careless and…"

The company is careless and irresponsible for fragile items like television . My television was delivered to Ghana broken and they took the item back to their warehouse. Since They then they have refused reimburse me about and the cost of the television, and the managers are inaccessible. Customer care doesn't exist and they leave you helpless and unsupported.

"I strongly advise against using this…"


I strongly advise against using this shipping company due to their lack of insurance coverage. I have experienced broken and stolen items, and the customer service is extremely poor, especially in Ghana. Managers do not return calls as promised. It has been three months since I shipped my items, and I have yet to receive my soundbar, Bose speakers, glass table, parasol, or 55-inch TV. Upon speaking with the manager in the UK, I was informed that the company does not provide insurance and that customers are expected to insure their own goods—information that was not disclosed to us prior to shipping.

"Poor Customer Service Experience in…"

Poor Customer Service Experience in Ghana.

I recently had the displeasure of experiencing subpar customer service from the Ghana branch of Samaiah shipping company during a recent international shipment.

This is all despite being a repeat customer over the years.

While the service received in the UK was exemplary, my experience with the company's customer service team in Ghana, particularly with Vivienne, was nothing short of disappointing.

Vivienne’s demeanour was extremely rude, unprofessional, and uncouth during our telephone interactions. Not only did she fail to address my concerns adequately, but her lack of courtesy and professionalism left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer.

In contrast to the exceptional service always provided in the UK, the experience in Ghana was beyond poor due to the unacceptable behaviour of Vivienne.

Overall, while the Samamiah may excel in certain aspects of their service, the negative experience with their customer service in Ghana this time around, particularly from Vivienne, overshadowed any positives.

I expected better professionalism, unfortunately, this expectation was wild off the mark.

Considering the situation described, when a customer feels undervalued by one company despite their loyalty, another company has the opportunity to gain that customer's business.

"Avoid Avoid Avoid Samamiah"

Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!!!! They damaged my Toshiba TV, which they inspected and was fine upon collection. Only to tell me that the TV screen was found damaged upon inspection before delivery in Ghana. They then told me that the manufacturer, Toshiba, must have put the TV stand in front of the screen, hence the broken screen. I have never heard such a ridiculous explanation in my entire life. There were 2 Toshiba TVs, however, the robots that pack the TVs, somehow mistakenly placed the TV stand in front of the screen, therefore causing the screen to damage in transit to Ghana. No worries Samamiah. I hear you.

"My items sent to Ghana with shipment…"

My items sent to Ghana with shipment cost £1100 , got damaged while in storage ,when I put in a complain the senseless and unreasonable response I got from a Manager within this company was because I delayed in making my final payment for the shipment I have no cause to complain and also will not be compensated for the damages as per their terms and conditions for payment.
I wonder when it became legal and lawful behaviour for any business to damage clients /customers goods because of delays in making final payment?
