"I really enjoyed my recent experience…..."

I really enjoyed my recent experience with OxSC, I feel that I was able to learn a lot not only about the subject I studied, but also about life skills in general. I feel that I became a lot more comfortable living more independently and I made so many amazing friends! Aside from the enlightening curriculum, we were also given many chances to explore the city, with our group, or just a couple friends. Overall was just a great experience...I'm considering going back again next year!

My child, Arjun was unable to attend the course last year because of the delay in getting visa from India. Oxford has given him a deferral to this year. The best part is that I was unable to contact any one personally, therefore I sent an email to the coordinator from last year Ms. Sayantani. Though she is no longer working with the student service team, still she connected me immediately to the person concerned and he was very helpful. I received all my documents in the mail while speaking with him. How wonderful is that! My special regards to Ms Sayantani Mitra. This is what I call professionalism and healthy work culture.

I am starting to think this is a scam. I enrolled my daughter for the summer engineering course in Aug. Paid the initial £1000 deposit. It is end of March and I have heard nothing more about the course or accomodtion. I got on a call and was promised a refund 3 weeks ago. Nothing has happened so far.

I absolutely enjoyed my time at the Oxford Summer Courses. This is because the tutors are experts in the field they teach, the classroom sizes are small so there is a great deal of interaction between the tutor and the students. Furthermore, the friendships you will make will be long-lasting as everyone are there eager to make new bonds.

Although the academic side of things was great, the management was poor and the quality of living spaces of the student accommodations was poor.
Despite knowing about the heatwaves, fans were not provided well until we were halfway through the course. This was made worse by the poorly ventilated rooms. Moreover, the meals would often not be provided and the trips were more of a compromise than an experience.

Oxford Summer Courses really gave me the opportunity to interact and meet people from different countries. The most amazing part of my course was being introduced to Oxford techniques of studying and grasping knowledge in the Oxford way. We had two weeks of time and my summer course professor taught us everything using Oxford techniques. The classes were also very open when it came to discussions and it was really eye-opening to hear opinions from different people and it definetly broadened my knowledge about various things. Overall it was an amazing experience from everything to accomadation, friends and international experience.
