Please approach this company with extreme caution. It appears to be a scam, or very close to based on my experience. The overwhelmingly positive reviews on Trust Pilot are also suspicious. For a more accurate view see the reviews on ratingfacts.com. Almost 20% of the reviews here are 1 star and many echo my own experience of the company. And also please check out the 1% reviews on this site, which again exactly match my own experience.

My situation is as follows. I contacted EIN Express in mid July 2024 asking if they could obtain an ITIN for me (I am a dual UK/US citizen resident in the UK almost since birth).

Sina Bonabi confirmed that they could process this, and I paid them (almost £400).

I then had a zoom call with Bridget in the US. I explained my situation (again) and within a few minutes Bridget informed me that (1) I would not be eligible for an ITIN and (2) my application should never have been accepted. She said that I would be refunded in 5-10 days. This was annoying and a complete waste of time since it had already taken some effort to reach this stage, but I’m prepared to let that go.

12 days after the call I still hadn’t been refunded my money.

I email. No response. I email another four times (to date) copying in Sina Bonabi, Prince and everyone else I have an email for at EIN. No response.

So to sum up, they have promised me a service they cannot deliver, taken my money, promised a refund, not delivered it, and are now not responding to any emails from me.

This looks a lot like a scam to me.

I hope someone at EIN Express will respond to this and give me my money back before I am forced to resort to legal action. I am not, however, confident.
