"We had such a lovely experience..."

We had such a lovely experience in their store looking for engagement rings.

Our consultant was really lovely, she served us prosecco and took their time to show us through the collection with real knowledge, advising on cuts and lifestyle wear (I'm medical so can't wear a big rock.)

We are choosing our ring together because he knows I'm looking for something sustainable and this is the only jeweller we went to that didn't roll their eyes at me when I asked about sustainability!

Definitely recommend a stop here if you are on the engagement ring journey.

"Untrustworthy company..."

Untrustworthy company

We spent over £10K and had several issues in dealing with them. The diamond was smaller than advertised, we had to fly back and forth to collect a replacement

Then the VAT reclaim was unsuccessful because the supplied forms weren’t correct and the suppliers they use are no longer valid. Then I was unresponded to for over a month.

Would absolutely not recommend Chupi.

One of my favourites! My husband bought me an initial disc necklace from Chupi after my daughter was born. I adore it and plan to pass onto my daughter on her next birthday ❤️

"The jewellery is overpriced and bad…..."

The jewellery is overpriced and bad quality! Necklace/ chain broke 3 times in 1 year! I got it fixed the first two times and in the last time the chain got replaced. The replacement looks cheap, and did not have the same quality. Don’t get fooled into the marketing here!! Your buying melted down, recycled, un-pure gold. Go to another jeweller and compare your items from Chupi… you will see what poor quality Chupi is. I am glad to see other people have left similar messages… the owner should take note and stop overcharging and creating real value for ppl instead. Heirlooms ??? How, if they break instantly?? Service was good.

"Broken necklace after only two years..."

I am incredibly disappointed and devastated to say that the North Star necklace that I purchased only two years ago broke and in breaking I lost the attached pendant. For a piece of jewellery that is marketed as a high quality heirloom piece, not only is its breaking very disappointing but my primary reason for this review is the customer service that I am receiving regarding this broken piece. I was hoping for a repaired clasp and an offer on a discounted pendant to replace the lost pendant. What I received was a 10% discount code to purchase a completely new necklace. With inflation this 10% discount makes a new necklace €250 more expensive than the necklace that I purchased only two years ago.

Do not shop here if you actually want an heirloom piece. You can get a better quality necklace and better service at Arnotts.

"Don’t buy into the hype …..."

My partner and I booked an engagement appointment back in Sep/oct. We traveled to Dublin specifically for the appointment as we had both been keen to view the collection together in person. I had always imagined my engagement ring would come from Chupi.

We viewed some of the rings however we left feeling a little uncertain and underwhelmed and put it down to the fact that the store / staff were preparing for the relocation. We felt perhaps we hadn’t had the best service and decided to wait until the new store had opened to revisit.

We revisited on Saturday (18th Nov) and enquired again about the rings we had previously viewed. I was disappointed one of the three styles I liked was not available in gold to try in my side and was offered silver instead (when such a special purchase I think all sizes should be available in all styles) I set three rings aside including two wedding bands rings which caught my eye. We briefly discussed details / price / style names etc with a member of staff who wrote nothing down but advised that she would email all of the details through to my partner later that day. I mentioned that we were registered for the Black Friday event and that we had specifically came on Saturday to confirm our selection to enable us to avail of the discount.

Unfortunately after waiting all afternoon my partner never received that email. He has yet to receive it. The appointment was made / confirmed with his email address so there could not have been an issue with the address. What should have been an enjoyable experience and memorable day, wasn’t, and we could easily just have browsed the website. There was nothing special or personal about the experience… There is no private room to sit down and try the rings on in an intimate / private space.. anyone can see! To be honest.. I’ll never consider shopping there again. We both left Dublin that day annoyed, disappointed and frankly appalled. To me, Chupi is a brand with fantastic marketing.. nice products (though v overpriced after shopping around) but shocking service. To further add to this, I emailed customer service on 22.11.23 with this info and again have yet to receive a response… don’t buy into the marketing hype.

"Incredibly friendly staff, knowledgeable and helpful!..."

I recently purchased my engagement ring from their store in Dublin. The staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I didn't buy on my first appointment, viewed online, booked a virtual appointment then went back in for a final follow up and made the purchase.

I don't know if I'm allowed to name people here, but the store manager was incredible from first consultation through to sale and then aftercare. I didn't get the size right but they were most helpful and resized to save my blushes!

On the product itself, my fiancee is over the moon and loves everything about it and can't stop showing it off.

Thanks again folks! We'll be back for our wedding rings.

"Great experience online buying engagement ring..."

Such an incredible experience buying an engagement ring for my girlfriend. I did an online video consultation where the lady took me through all of the options on a very fancy camera, helped me choose the perfect ring for her and had it delivered to me in time for the proposal.

"Customer service ..."

I have a whole long-winded story about chupi but I'll save you all the details.
This is an excellent jeweler's. The attention to detail from start to finish is amazing and in my opinion unheard of. Customer service is off the charts and they 💯 stand over there products. I will happily buy from there again.
