Would it be possible to remove fragile objects,( eg mirrors ect), prior to transit as they usually arrive broken off.

I had recently ordered to gift someone a 1/18 scale die-cast model car which was listed on the company's website as "MINT Condition" model and box. When the ordered product arrived, the box showed heavy signs of wear and more disappointingly, the model was in poor condition. Had this company being honest while listing this product on its website, I would not have bought it in the first instance for the substantial price that I had to pay. Extremely frustrating experience!
