"Childish attitude to customers"
I cannot believe how childish a company can be...In Feb of this year i ordered a pc part and I paid for next day delivery, So on the day it should have been delivered i had no email or any communication about the delivery..So i contacted OCUK just to check..
Only to get a sob story about staff issues warehouse problems etc,I explained their issues are nothing to do with customers, when customers pay for goods they expect to receive them, or at the very least be informed of any delays..After all its 2025 we have numerous ways to communicate, but it seems companies don,t care these days
Anyway i cancelled the order because i could not wait in again as i was going away...
So yesterday my wife asked me to order a nuka cola keyboard from OCUK for my disabled stepson, for his birthday..(Not thinking OCUK had issues with me)....That was until i checked the emails, and I had no order confirmation delivery notice nothing, just amazon pay stating they were waiting for OCUK to ask for payment, So i checked my account on OCUK and thats when i found OCUK had cancelled the order.. Not because the keyboard was unavailable or anything, but because i had complained about their service in February, I mean how childish can you get,You go to a company buy an item pay for next day delivery and end up getting poor service,so you make a complaint, and get attitude from them on the phone like it's your fault your item did not arrive...So as a result they decide your money is no longer welcome,The owners of OCUK must be so proud of dumping customers and losing money because people may complain when items do not arrive or are not sent when they should have been......
What a way to run a business..
given the reply back from OCUK i find it hard that amazon pay did not pay the order when the email i received from amazon says...
Thank you for using Amazon Pay with OCUK.
You haven't been charged yet. After OCUK has finished processing your order, we’ll send confirmation that your payment is complete. but given the order was cancelled within minutes of being placed then of course payment would never happen

"Excellent Service and Customer Care"
Always willing to help with any questions, always speedy service, well packaged to avoid damage, prices are comparable to other UK outlets, but critically usually have more stock of the harder to find items ;) 5090 cough :D

"Always a good place to order from."
Always a good place to order from.
I only occasionally do it for bigger purchases since delivery to Northern Ireland is expensive (unfortunately), but purchasing from Overclockers is always a great experience.
Very overkill packaging (good), with tons of bubble wrap and even a bag of haribos as a treat. Always good when it comes to comms, too.

"Don't bother with pre-orders"
It's my second order with Overclockers (tried with smaller, less expensive items at first to see if they were reliable) and, unfortunately, it's been dealt with quite poorly. I suppose that normally things go smoothly, but when something does go wrong, there's no one to own up to it or help.
I pre-ordered an AMD 7900 XT card, hoping that it would be shipped when back to stock; then I went online in a few days and saw that the card was back in stock and available to buy without a pre-order, while my order was stuck in the Picking phase. I messaged the support asking for an ETA as I was considering cancelling my order and just ordering it "fresh", only to hear from them in a couple of days that the card was not available anymore (not just out of stock but no longer available, like in the foreseeable future). Clearly there was a mishap, and these things do happen, but I was offered no solution other than to cancel my order and place a new one - and as you know, the prices are currently volatile, so me securing the price with the pre-order meant nothing, zero. Why even offer pre-orders for something that is going to be "no longer available"? So be careful with pre-orders, my advice would be not to risk it— their position is that it's all on you, no one will admit their mistake or offer an alternative, and your money will just be taken for something that might never arrive. Having received no meaningful response from the support, I'll probably just cancel the order, wait for the money to be refunded (who knows how long that will take...) and then order from somewhere else.

"Reasonable price"
Reasonable price, easy to contact with problems, paid for next day delivery and it didnt come for 2 days, only reason I'm not giving 5 star, will be using for all my purchases in the future
