This is not as small as suggested. It's about the size of a multi-vitamin. I could not get it to fit comfortably in my ear. When wearing it in the car, it only amplified the road noise, and I still had to strain to hear others in the car. It did help me hear my partner a little better while at a school concert (which is why I bought it) but not as much as I had hoped. Hearing the TV was much improved, but that's not why I bought it. Some of the issue could be getting the volume fine tuned, but taking it in and out of the ear to use the screwdriver is not convenient. "Hang on, I gotta turn up the volume!" Could still hear the hissing and swooshing of the tinnitus as usual while wearing the device. It wasn't any louder, but it wasn't diminished, either.
