I needed to replace the module on a dimmer switch that was around 12 years old had ceased to function. I ordered a replacement but discovered the spindle for the button had been changed. I therefore need to replace the whole switch. The whole process was handled seamlessly and the two member of your staff, one on reception and the other in customer care were great to deal with.

Planned ahead and ordered and purchased a door rod to be made and delivered to store for 13 th December. Pre Christmas and winter as needed to install prior to busy time and guests. Ordering fine and lady was professional and polite and helpful. Was away until then, picked up from Bath store - very well wrapped and secure. Got it home, most of the end finish missing. Rang Batb shop, told
to ring customer services. Rang customer services. was asked if happened in transit ( not possible the amount of bubble wrap and secured covering). Must have been before - so quality control issue. Said they would get to me by the end of the week. This was Monday. Had email late Thursday: Ready for transit. Great. Replied said yes delivered to house as was going to Lincolnshire. No reply. Didn’t get a reply until during Saturday. Told will be delivered Monday. ( Christmas and guests arriving Monday and we were collecting the guest from Lincolnshires) Emailed unhappy. Explained it would be difficult and didn’t have time to fit rod now as elderly people and christmas prep. Didn’t arrive Monday either. Replies to emails not coming until next day. Emailed midst all Chritmas Eve cooking preparations that it still hadn’t arrived. Said they would give me 25% off which really wasn’t the point. But accepted as it was a farce. Arrived 1:30 pm Christmas Eve. I’m not sure when they expected us to do DIY with guests and prep for Christmas and take up a curtain and fit it all. We were leaving to travel and be away until mid Feb and return guests to Lincolnshire on Boxing Day. So pole not up. Curtain not done. Have had ‘gesture’ to cover inconvenience. But the poor replies to communication and the initial poor quality of the finish on the rod just not what you expect. Please don’t promise what you can’t deliver. If i had left it last minute I would have understood. but i ordered in mid October. Suggest you unwrap goods in shop and inspect. Disappointed - we have ordered from them
before and was fine. This was poor.

Exceptionally good, outstanding service from the Jim Lawrence customer service team. The outside front door handle at my mother's house had worn out (after a couple of decades of service in a location exposed to awful weather) so I contacted them to ask about purchasing a single replacement door handle rather than a pair. Bless them, they went ahead and repaired the old one for her. That was way above and beyond my expectations. Big thank you to Charlotte in the customer services team, you're a star!
