Super bad experience with the Spanish AnyVan site. First, every single offer I got was for €900 or more, while any other website asked for only €300-€400. Secondly, I had unfortunately already paid the deposit of €260 on AnyVan but wanted to cancel my order 4 days later. The customer support - after talking to 3 different people - told me at their "own discretion" that they couldn't do anything because it's up to them to decide whether they're gonna give me the deposit back or not. Although it's written in their policies that up until 4 weeks after the order's been made one can get their deposit back, they decided not to refund me "just because", basically, unless I can get the transporter to cancel the order, but he's only telling me "I can't do it. Please talk to AnyVan", so I'm assuming he's gonna get part of that deposit and therefore doesn't want to cancel it either. Super bad experience with AnyVan, will definitely never ever visit their website again. Absolute fraud.
Update 22.08.2024:
After receiving an answer on here and via email, I responded to them asking them for my deposit in cash (just like they stated it in their reply). Now I'll wait and see what happens and perhaps adjust my rating.
Update 23.08.2024:
AnyVan confirmed in an E-Mail that they'd refund me my deposit within the next 5-10 days. I'm willing to update this review in case I do actually receive my money back.
Update 09.09.2024:
I finally received my deposit back, after talking to 5 different people from the costumer service for about a month. Changing my review from 1 to 3 stars, because they kept their promise and were fast at responding. However, if I hadn't written a Trustpilot review, I'd have never seen my money, which is why I can't give more than 3 stars.

"Total waste of time"
Total waste of time, unprofessional, total SCAM.
Required a movying service with 50m3 and 4.0T of items.
(Movying service means truck and man labour in my dictionary)
The day of collection 2 x 3.5T (1.0T max payload) vans, driven by two barely alive drivers, shown up in my storage, obviously it was not enough and we have then cancelled the service.
Required a refund to Anyvan and they refuse stating the service has been provided (would love to see the CMR signed)
Companies like this should not exist, thay are just a transport Auction Entity trying to sell you request to the most desperate transporting agent while getting a 30% commission to be paid upfront.
Unfortunately there is no possibility to give "0" or "negative" star.
Stay away from them, they are just b#lls#it.

Contratamos descarga de camion, y no lo hicieron.
El camionero se negó a descargar el camion. Tuvimos que descargarlo nosotros mismos.
Intentamos contactar con el responsable pero todo fueron evasivas y decirnos que siguieramos esperando, que alguien vendría a descargar. Tras horas de esperar, decidimos descargarlo ante el riesgo de que el camionero se fuera (por suerte compramos un carro de mano nosotros mismos)
Como nota adicional, el camionero no hablaba ni ingles, ni español (cuando inicialmente buscamos a alguien con quien pudiéramos comunicarnos si sucedía algo).
El conjunto de la experiencia fue muy negativo y no se lo recomendaría a nadie. Hemos quedado muy escontentos con la gestion del de anyvan porque cuando hubo problemas no nos ayudaron y se desetendieron por completo.

Es la segunda vez que uso AnyVan y me parece un servicio estupendo que contribuye a que el traslado de mercancías sea más justo y profesional.

El precio ajustado no sirvió huvo que pagar un suplemento de 250€ contraté el servicio de mudanza por unidades y la empresa me cobró por volumen pese a no completar la lista.

"Utterly abysmal service"
Utterly abysmal service. Refused to remove an item. Did not want to place furniture accordingly. Driver barely assisted (despite having booked a 2 man team. Simply wanted to plonk it down and get out!! Don’t bother.
Customer service absolutely no help. No compensation for the undelivered item!
Use your local people!!
And CEO if you are reading this I expect a call, given that your customer service team refused to give me a contact email
Oh and incidentally I received information the night before that they would arrive at 1215. They appeared at 1415hrs
