"MIGHT LOSE MONEY"
MIGHT LOSE MONEY. When intering their website a pop up askes about your geografical location. Don't accept that. It will change the currency from AUD to EUR if you are in Europe, which made me lose money in currency, since the trip was paid in EUR and not AUD. The trip was a lot cheaper if I had paid in AUD.

"Worst travel experience of my life"
Just got back from the 3 Days 4WD Kakadu Litchfield Safari and I am still in chock. I have never felt so robbed in my life.
Me and my girlfriend are on a 6 week trip to AU and took the plain from Cairns just to take this tour, it was supposed to be the highlight of our tour. Together we paid 950 euros for the 3 day tour so we had high expectations that this was going to be the perfect tour. How wrong we would be.
The first day went okay. We went to a couple of different waterfall in Litchfield NP, and then went to our first camp. We where a bit surprised because we really did not see anything special but okay it was the first day, and the next day was Kakadu, the highlight of the tour. At the camp we where treated with som of the worst tents i have slept in, in my life. Not because they where simpel, but they where so dirty. The madras was only a couple of cm thick, and very bad for the back. The guide had a real bed in his tent :) For our 315 euros a day we had the pleasure of preparing dinner ourselves and sweeping the tents and loading and unloading the truck. Also, the food was the worst i have had on any tour.
The next we where exited because now it was Kakadu. Because of the wet season everything was closed, so the 4WD made no difference. Here is the day: First the visitor center, then a aboriginal rock art place and then a one hour boat cruise where we saw no crocks as they are not there because of wet season. It would have mad no difference because you could see anything from the stuffed boat. The smell of all the sweaty people in the crammed boat is another story. Afterwards, back to new camp and repeat the last days works. This time however we all got real beds in the tents. I was in chock. This was our 950 euro Kakadu tour. A tour which I could have done myself in regular car, for a lot less money.
The third day it was a waterfall and a swim and a 6K hike which made everyone in the group almost faint because of the immense heat.
And where was the guide in all of this. Just wandering around and saying nothing at all. He really seamed like a guy who wanted to be anywhere else in the world except with us.
I could go on and on with all other things as well, but you would not believe me and I want you to. The only reason I am taking the time to write this review is to warn as many people as i can about this company.
I you dont believe me, take the tour, and compare it to my description. I geniunly feel that they have stolen my money, because they knew that everything was closed and still the made a tour without giving the slightest warning and a lower price.
I have no problem with sleeping in dirty tents, eating crap food and wasting my days seeing nothing but I do however have a problem when you have 950 euros for it.
This was a lesson for a lifetime and I will never take a tour before I have done all the research first. Disappointed, hurt and angry. Hope you can sleep at night Adventure Tours, because this adventure will haunt my nights forever.
