"Excellent experience getting solar system installed by ASEI"

Knew nothing about solar technology when I decided to look at getting a system installed. We had 4 companies quote and selected ASEI as we felt very comfortable with the advice they had given and their quote seemed competitive. There was a price variation of €2,500 between the cheapest and most expensive quotes received meaning that you really need to have trust in the company that you select.

Aubrey from ASEI was great to deal with from beginning to end. Spent time on the phone and on-site explaining what was possible and recommending the best system for our needs. A solution was found to move a roof vent that was going to limit our south facing panels and this was taken care of as part of our install.

ASEI take care of everything including the BER and the SEAI grant and there was a transparency to everything that they did. This transparency was backed up by things like allowing us to select our preferred panels and their charge for additional panels which was half that of others and more in line with the retail cost of panels.

Our install was completed on schedule with the team arriving on time. The install took 5 hours to complete and the crew were very tidy leaving everything as they found it. Once on the roof Errol and Kiernan measured up and discovered that they could fit an extra panel which was added with no fuss. David and Cathal were meticulous and took the time to ensure that the the electrics install was as neat as possible.

Before leaving the team took the time to go over the install, explain everything and setup the Solis Cloud app. The next morning Aubrey was in contact to check that everything was ok and to answer any questions.

From beginning to end ASEI have been great to deal with and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

"I cannot rate this company highly…"

I cannot rate this company highly enough; being of a cautious nature I would be someone who likes to fully explore something before purchasing and Aubrey on multiple occasions spent a good amount of time over the phone thoroughly explaining the systems involved, from grants to maintenance to duration of payback, etc. Aubrey is an engineer and knows his facts (being of a scientific background myself I knew what he was telling me was valid). In the end the system he recommended actually meant he was selling less equipment to me such was his desire to provide the optimum setup to meet my needs. The fact they deal completely with the SEAI grant process really streamlined the process and relieved me of an onerous burden. The installation was really efficient and completed in one day with no damage caused to tiles or roof despite the house being fairly old (circa 1950s). All equipment and labour was guaranteed. Any queries after installation were dealt with thoroughly afterwards. Final cost of the system (16 panels, diverter, inverter and EV charger) was cheaper than any of the other quotes I got (5 in total). The system was installed at start of May and is running perfectly (I'm writing this in September). Because we are generating more power than we use we haven't had to pay for any electricity up to now (it will be interesting to see how we get on over the winter). Normally there is enough solar power in the mornings to heat the water on time for showers. The only adjustment we had to do was to set the timer on the diverter to heat the water from the mains early in the day to cater for reduced generation during cloudy mornings. Since we're generating an excess of power the panels reverse this outlay (during the winter we'll be heating the house anyway with the boiler so will switch this off). In summary I have only good things to say about this highly professional company and I wish them all the best for the future.

ASEI were an excellent company to deal with from start to finish. From the initial call out with Aubrey, we knew they were the company we wanted to deal with. We had about 5 different companies call out in the weeks prior to meeting Aubrey and they were all very pushy in their approach, it felt like they were trying to sell us the system to suit themselves and not the system that best suited us. Aubrey spent time going through different systems and really explained to me what he thought best suited our family home. The installation was very quick and David, Cathal and the two installers were very friendly and explained the working of the system very well and made it clear to contact them with any queries we had about the system in the future. I would highly recommend ASEI.

Everything went smoothly from initial contact with the company until all was done. The site visit and documentation were clear and the installation team turned up early, were easy and very pleasant to deal with. Everything around the house was left spotless. They were communicative and stayed till I was completely clear on how the system and the app worked. I would recommend them to anyone.

When we decided to install solar panels we researched our options. From the moment we contacted Aubrey and until job was completed by Aaron ,Michael and cahal we were delighted with their service .They are very professional courteous and polite the guys are very tidy workers we installed a total of 17 panels and we are delighted how they are performing .I have the app on my phone and I can see on a daily basis how the solar works .I texted Aubrey today on Saturday and asked him when it suits could he tell me how to install the app on my husband's phone he rang me back straight away and talk me through the process .what a service I can totally recommend this company to anyone thinking of installing solar five of my family now to date have used this company and they are all very happy with their results .can't recommend this company enough thank you for your service Aubrey and team of ASEI

When we decided to install solar panels we researched several companies. ASEI were competitive price wise and went above and beyond answering questions/ advice etc. before the installation.

On the day the guys working on the system went above and beyond to ensure everything went well. They showed up before the agreed time, worked diligently and gave clear instructions and advice after. Our house was respected and left spotless. To quote one of the guys when we suggested something he didn't think would work "he wouldn't do it in his own house" and I feel this sums up the company ethos- they understand this is your home and treat it as they would their own. This was very much appreciated.
My experience of the company after sales has been excellent- they look after their customers and for this reason I look forward to working with them again in a few years when we can afford to extend our current system. Overall we are happy with this company and wholeheartedly highly recommend.

Was dealing with Aubrey via emails and WhatsApp for any queries at all very quick in response.
They installed an 11 panel system along with battery, Panel installers and electricians arrived at agreed time (8.00am) and had job completed by lunchtime.
They were also the best value in the market, Got quotes from over 10 companies. Delighted with the solar install and would highly recommend ASEI.
