"Worst car hire company ever"

They charged me twice the amount they suppise to charge. Fabricate invoices. Rip off customers. Very unfriendly and unprofessional staff.
Stay away from them. Do not hire a car from them.

Horrible experience! ADD Car scammed me with extra charges I wasn’t informed about and didn’t care that I’d already purchased insurance online—they forced me to pay again. They make up rules on the spot, like not accepting two credit cards. This place is a complete rip-off!

"Big scam"

This company is nothing but a money trap! ADD Car charged me for hidden fees that were never mentioned upfront, refused to accept two credit cards, and bullied me into buying extra insurance despite me already paying for one online. Their shady tactics are unacceptable. Don’t waste your money here!

Absolute scam! ADD Car is the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. They overcharged me for things they never disclosed, refused to accept two credit cards, and forced me to pay for extra insurance even though I’d already paid for one through the website. This company is designed to trick and rip you off at every step. Stay far away if you value your time, money, and sanity!

"Franchement"

Franchement, c’est une arnaque. À mon arrivée à l’aéroport Mohamed V, personne n’était présent à l’accueil et ils étaient injoignables. J’ai dû demander à d’autres courtiers pour qu’ils m’indiquent que le représentant se trouvait sur le parking.
Une heure plus tard, c’était enfin mon tour. J’avais réservé une Hyundai Accent 4, mais on m’a proposé une Logan à la place (alors qu’elle était affichée moins chère sur le site).
Ensuite, problème avec la carte : ils exigeaient une carte de crédit, mais la mienne était une carte de débit. Je leur ai alors présenté une carte de crédit marocaine, mais ils ont refusé en expliquant qu’il fallait obligatoirement une carte de crédit étrangère pour la caution.

"Addcar Romania: AVOID!"

#Three broken cars changed in two hours.
#Threatened to be left without car in the middle of the night (with the whole family) if I was not happy with the shape of their cars and to be put on the black list.
#Nobody cared about the three emails sent.
#60 euros fine if you don't return the car spotless clean.

Three words: AVOID ADDCAR ROMANIA!

All the above happened on December 22nd, between 2:30 and 4:40 AM.

The first car we were given looked fine, but 40 km later some lamps started to light on the control panel and error messages to appear. Called them and been suggested to return and change the car. We did it, even if it took us another 30 min drive.

The second car was an old Ford Fiesta. Few hundred meters later we realized that the airbag malfunction lamp was on and that the gear box was broken (no neutral position for the changing gears stick.)

Back to Addcar, we got a Dacia Sandero Stepway. Fine. But, after checking the winter tires, we realized that they were very tired. Since we were plannig a trip in a mountain area, we asked if it would have been possible to have a car provided with better winter tires.

At that precise moment, the employee "exploded". He started threaten us with cancelation and also said that I will be put on their black list as a "bad customer".

Really? At 4.00 AM? After everything that happened? Perhaps, they should be on my black list?

I tried to get in touch with the management 3 times by mail and once by phone.

Guess what? Nobdy cared about that.

At the time of returning the car we have been warned that, if the car was not spotless clean, a 60 euros fine would be charged. 60 euros for a car wash?

Please, do yourself a favour and avoid them.

"TRUFFATORI, ti portano ad acquistare assicurazioni extra"

Al ritiro dell auto a Bucarest mi dicono che devo pagare un deposito cauzionale. La cosa non mi sorprende ma entrambe le carte che provo ad utilizzare non funzionano (dice PIN errato). Unica soluzione è pagare una assicurazione extra così da abbassare il deposito cauzionale che, questa volta, posso però pagare con Revolut.
Come controllo provo a utilizzare entrambe le carte con un altro esercente quella stessa sera e, magia, entrambe hanno funzionato correttamente.
In sintesi ti dicono che il PIN non funziona per farti sottoscrivere una assicurazione aggiuntiva.
SCONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE.

Avoid this company I rent the car in Bucharest for 600 euro deposit when I arrived the staff said 1300 euro not 600 I paid extra 200 euro for insurance and gived me a high milage rubbish car which is broken after 100 km 1 day it was for changing and gived me another car for clutch problems. When I dropped off he said its have a scratch for the tyre protector it's not covered the insurance I sad I don't pay for this he said ok but charge 60 euro for the car wash i said don't pay I go and wash the car he said I can't because the car I gived back and I can't move it's a big scam all company make sure you don't rent here

TRUFFA! ATTENZIONE
Non prendete auto a noleggio da loro perché sono solo truffatori. Io e mio marito abbiamo preso un'auto a Sofia per 10 giorni a luglio. Siamo arrivati quasi un'ora in anticipo e abbiamo dovuto aspettare sotto il sole perché non ci hanno dato l'auto prima. Alla consegna ci hanno bloccato 500 Euro sulla carta e ci hanno detto che era solo un disguido. A gennaio ancora non ci hanno ridato i soldi e alla fine, dopo numerose mail, dicono che abbiamo fatto un'assicurazione Extra, mai sottoscritta da noi! SONO TRUFFATORI!

"Flughafen Bukarest - Vorsicht Betrug - Finger weg von ADDCAR"

Flughafen Bukarest: Wir haben bei Check24 schon sehr oft Autos gemietet. Bisher hatten wir immer positive Erfahrungen gemacht, aber dies war unsere unangenehmste Erfahrung überhaupt. Als wir im Büro von Addcar ankamen, stellten wir fest, dass einer von uns beiden seinen Pass im Hotel liegen gelassen hat. Das Hotel war direkt um die Ecke. Es hätte 10 Minuten gedauert ihn zu holen. Der Man am Schalter sagte, das würde nicht gehen, er bräuchte ihn jetzt und sofort. Er könnte den Wagen keine 10 Minuten mehr halten. (Es war 12 Uhr am Heiligen Abend der Fuhrpark war voller Autos!!!!!!!!!! Dies war großer Quatsch, den es war weit und breit kein Kunde zu sehen.)
Aber nun kommt es......., er bot uns an, eine zusätzliche Versicherung von ca. 200 Euro abzuschließen, dann wäre das mit dem zweiten Pass nicht so schlimm und wir würden den Wagen bekommen. Was die Versicherung mit dem Pass zu tun hat, konnte er uns nicht erklären. Hier war ganz deutlich zu spüren, dass er die Anweisung hat, diese Versicherung verkaufen zu müssen. Wir wollten ihn klar machen, dass wir ja eine Vollkaskoversicherung haben und keine weitere brauchen, aber dies war vergebens.
Da wir das Gefühl hatten, dass man uns belügt beschlossen wir zu gehen und uns am Flughafen einen Ersatzwagen zu buchen. Nun kam die Krönung der Unverschämtheit. Der Mann am Schalter hatte ja schon meine Kreditkarte und er wollte sie uns nicht zurückgeben. Wir müssten erst 40 Euro dafür zahlen, dass er uns am Flughafen, der 1,6 Km entfernt war, abgeholt hat. Dies haben wir nicht gemacht. Erst als wir mit der Polizei gedroht haben, gab er uns die Kreditkarte zurück und wir konnten gehen. So was habe ich noch nie erlebt. Wir haben zum Glück in Bukarest am Flughafen bei Eurocar noch ein gutes Ersatzfahrzeug bekommen.
Auch in Anbetracht der ganzen anderen negativen Erfahrungen, rate ich jedem, lieber etwas mehr zu zahlen und sich diesen Ärger sparen. Dieser Anbieter ist meiner Meinung nach extrem unseriös.
