"Hung up on me"
Called me after I had applied for a job then simply hung up on me when (I assume) my answers weren't satisfying to them. Very disrespectful.

"1 star is generous"
1 star is generous. Totally useless recruitment company. Dealing with a Guy Called Elliot who has no idea about customer service.

"Bogus contracts"
Bogus contracts, they just want your info and they never get back to you.

"AVOID THIS COMPANY (if you are a…"
AVOID THIS COMPANY (if you are a contractor)
The value of the contract you are signing is ZERO, it has no value for yourself. Basically you have all the responsibility but in return you have no garantee you will actually get to do work and won't have a garantee that you will get paid. The agent doesn't provide you with any information when and where you need to be and which is the contact person, etc.I have lost a solid position with a lenthy contract and have been convinced to resign and currently I don't have a contract because of G2. The agent is very agressive in the approach into getting you on board and promises you the world but that is not the case. I have been informed that the job is canceled because the end client "lost the project" after the start date and would not get any compensation for the time lost and the job stability that was sacrificed.
All the positive reviews are given by G2's recruiters and they are fake positive reviews it seems.

"AVOID!"
Totally agree with all the negative reviews here! If you ever think of leaving your current job and signing a contract with this agency consult a lawyer first, otherwise you risk to become jobless...they have so many clauses in the contract which cause a significant imbalance in their favour, basically they are not liable for anything!

"Martin Shields is too be avoided"
Martin Shields is too be avoided. Totally unprofessional and frankly insulting to potential clients both employers and people looking for work

"For many years, G2 have not sent me a single relevant role (that I can recall) despite explaining regularly what the right role would look like. Avoid - there are better agencies!"
I used to consider G2 as being one of the better agencies.
For a few years, the only emails I receive are for irrelevant roles, and each time, I explain the sorts of roles that would be suitable, yet I am still receiving unrelated roles, which anyone glancing at my CV would appreciate.
It is a great shame, but there are good agencies, so the more people vote with their business with poor agencies, the more likely we are to improve the quality!

"Avoid these scammers"
Avoid! Received a call regarding a position which suited my down to the ground with one of their clients. After a little bit of negotiation, I was through for an interview. In my opinion, the interview went well but I understand that not every candidate is successful. Received a call from Martin Shields from G2 the morning after the interview for an update from myself on how I thought the interview went. From there, I heard absolutely nothing. No feedback as to why I wasn’t successful. Just completely disappeared off the face of the earth. A few weeks later, I received an email from a guy called Robbie at G2 with a position I was far from qualified / experienced to do, but saying my profile matched! SCAMMERS. Absolute SCAMMERS!

"Very Dodgy"
Very Dodgy, tried to extract as much info as possible, i get emails all the time with fake names, everytime i get an email its from a different person and this has been going on every 2 weeks or so for two years.
The one time i did speak to them, they tried to get managers names, rates, how big the team is, who is in the team about everything they possibly could, i refused to answer as they refused to let me know the name of the company they are reaching out to me for.
to which i was threatened, and reminded that 'we are in your city, you know'. I'll keep a look out for the G2 Thugs with bats!
terrible, terrible company. Go with reputable firms, which consistent people, and that dont ask the blood group of your team members.

"They Give recruiters a bad name"
They keep calling only to extract as much information about other businesses with no intention of offering a real position.
