"Absolute shocking customer service"
Absolute shocking customer service over the phone. Trying to arrange cover for my clients over in the US and spoken to like a piece dirt and also being spoken over whilst trying to explain the cover I require. I wish I had read these appalling reviews prior to calling them.

This is an awful company. I finally managed to cancel my policy last week but the promised refund of £ 130 has not arrived and their phone lines are down again

I've been with PolicyBee for a while and always found them to be excellent value and just nicer to deal with than the alternatives out there. Today, I needed to make a change to my policy and was able to do everything via their website - it was a fantastic process! Everything was transparent, customisable and extremely well-priced. I'll definitely be recommended PolicyBee if anyone asks - and will be renewing without a doubt.

"Customer of 5 years, this will be the last..."
Have been a customer of PolicyBee for 5 years, and this year has just been painful. The renewal process has taken 3 weeks, constantly told "I will send them across" or many other excuses then nothing.
They sent the documents over last week and they had the wrong address, that was Monday, still waiting for the right ones.
You can't backdate insurance, even though you used to be able to. You can't get insurance fast, even though you could previously. Excuse after excuse.
Currently at the 38 email mark and still don't have the right documentation to show to our clients who are requesting updated documents.
Will be looking elsewhere next year, a bit of a shame as they used to be great :(

"Brilliant customer service"
I just had a lovely call with Catherine from PolicyBee and it was one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Setting up insurance can be such a confusing process but Catherine explained everything really clearly and helped me pick the right policy for my business. I'd definitely use PolicyBee again for any future insurance I need!

"Ultra-efficient and know what they're doing"
We are one of the (unfortunate) companies who need special insurance now to sell on Amazon US - "additional insured" is really an American insurance thing and most UK insurers don't even know about it, let alone offer it.
Not only did PolicyBee have a full and correct grasp of the issue, but their systems are great - when I phoned it automatically recognised the number so a basic "please confirm your name" and not the full 10-question interrogation you get from most companies to "identify yourself"!
As for the policy - well it provides the exact wording in a special document that exactly matches Amazon US's requirements, and the policy cost whilst not cheap was significantly lower than any other alternative quote I managed to obtain. Policy documents were sent through automatically within minutes and accepted by Amazon US first time (and anyone who deals with Amazon knows how incredible that is!!).

"I'm truly amazed about how those guys…"
I'm truly amazed about how those guys respond promptly and make sure your claim gets covered as quickly and efficiently as possible.
I have been a client for a couple of years now and I recently had a claim. I thought as they are brokers I should contact the insurance provider itself but as he hasn't respond promptly, I have tried to give a shout to those guys.
Jane called me back straight away, collected all the informations and reassured me.
In a matter of a few days, everything was sorted in the best possible way.

"If your a e-commerce cust read on"
I took out my first policy last year with these guys around £550, I am a online trader have no physical customers come onto premises as I work from home only I am covered for stock and liability and legal, I got a quote from another company £110.65 for the exact same cover so quired it.
What I then learned is the comparison sites etc dont tailor soley for ecommerce traders such as myself own website amazon etc. the quotes your getting from them are retail, so you would think when you go direct through policybee them been leading experts and FCA registered they would be doing things right after all they are working as the advisor in one sense.
So I contacted to cancel the online thing said someone would call but they ended up emailing instead I spoke with a lady called Nina who stated I was on the correct policy, I pointed out I dont have footfall which is just one thing they insured me for what I did not need.
Emails back and forth her not really doing anything I pointed out I had contacted Hiscox which is who they put me through last year and they dont do a online only trader insurance meaning I paid 80% more last year due to PolicyBe not matching me to the correct product.
I have advised that I will be looking to escalate the issue if it is not resolved to the FCA which to be honest I imagine a lot of people have been conned just like me so should really do so in any case.
I cant state the honest company's name on here as it will give them grounds to remove the review unfortunately.

Although I’ve not had to interact with them a lot since starting policy, I’ve honestly never received anything but great service from these guys. It’s very personalised and you always get a named person that will deal with you once there’s a query or issue. You’ll get their direct email you and a direct dial. I think the issues below are because the direct dials will dial out if the person is on the phone but there’s a voicemail? We’ve got a potential claim and Jane has been absolutely lovely and is keeping me informed. I’m honestly the most critical person in the world if I get bad service and I’ll make it known. If they’ve been not so good in past, I can honestly say they’ve turned it around and I genuinely wouldn’t go anywhere else having used a few. Massive well done guys, your staff are a credit!
