"I got my system in a box one months…"
I am updating my review for Touchbistro to add even more bad news.
I got my system in a box one months ago. I have had one twenty minute call with Samantha Perez my “contact person” who I can only contact through email. And an hour long installation call which ended abruptly on the hour. The system is still not functioning and it’s like “watch some videos on line and figure this out yourself”. Now I am tech savvy and have a wiring installation background, I have run the extra cables required and have spent hours trying to figure how this works. But the support is non existent. If you are not very tech savvy, do not buy this system because you are on your own. After weeks of trying to get the system to integrate with the TSYS payment system, dealing with the advance customer service reps, we concluded that the system was never going to work. Failure of credit card processing. Not reading cards, swipers not working, genius minis discontinued. I bought this system so that I could retain my first data processing company. So I returned the system to Touchbistro, they told me not to send back the iPads because I opened them. I returned all the rest of the hardware and never got a refund, it’s been two months. I lost $7,000 and wasted two months of hard work trying to get it to work. I went with Toast, something I didn’t want to do because they control my credit card processing. The toast system cost less but works very well. They matched my credit card rates in the short term but I worry long term. I will never forget the nightmare of dealing with Touchbistro, I am writing this review to hopefully prevent any other restaurant owner suffering what I went through.

"Customer service needs work"
I enjoy the ease of the system, however, I have had no luck in customer service when it comes to discussing the billing. The original salesman led me to believe we had complete use of the POS and now it appears we have to pay for each additional service.

"I have a small cafeteria and thought…"
I have a small cafeteria and thought that this would be a easy solution to meet our POS needs. It is easy to use and set up was great. The onboarding was lacking, but I may have hit a transition since I had a couple of different contact during my onboarding. It has only been a couple of months and I am still trying to fine tune the set up of our screens. Customer support does guide you to videos for training and support, but luckily, I don't need it to do much other than a calculator that takes credit cards.

"Horrible Experience"
Horrible experience so far and we have never even been able to use the system due to the pandemic. They have charged us now over $9000 and still asking for additional payments and when you call "customer service" no one can help you. Please look at the reviews and the complaints with the BBB before you sign up with this company.

We have had Touchbistro almost four years.
Their system is very good and has a lot of features that make it better than other systems we have looked at.
Also they have been very good with support for any questions that come up. Also their in house cc processing has a very competitive rate.

"Went online with Touchbistro last month"
We have a restaurant/cafe in Houston & we just switched to the Touchbistro POS system last month. There was quiet a bit of work that went into going online but the final product is working very well for us. We also received great pricing on our Credit Card Processing, which was a significant added bonus. Warren, Matt, Tevin, Justin, Dan, Samantha... were all great to work with, have great attitudes and are patient!

So far- awesome! Set up and implementation is going great. The third-party vendors were terrific, and everybody responds quickly and thoroughly to any questions that we have. Our first encounter with tech-support was amazing. Knowledgeable, helpful, patient!

"Extremely poor onboarding support"
We have got a Touch Bistro POS for our new restaurant startup. When asked about onboarding support the account rep simply asked us to watch their videos. Despite writing to them about needing assistance they have not responded. Very unhappy with the kind of support they are providing. I was under the impression the POS providers provided initial training to the staff. This business is new to us and am so disappointed that I am receiving zero help from the start.

"Don’t get Touch Bistro!"
I used Touch Bistro for about 5yrs and they have the worst customer support ever!! You can never get through and the call back option is fake. They call back with a Toronto number which ends immediately after one ring. I was on hold for more than 1.5hr on multiple occasions, and again they end your calls. “They claim they got better answering calls” but that’s BS. Just called the on 3/24/2022 and same fake call back option. Called 4 times to get before getting through. I finally cancel my service! Basically support will waste a few hours of your lifetime. You’ll pay the high monthly with their record breaking hold times and zero support. Oh yeah it’ll cripple your business flow if you’re offline. Just giving them a honest review they deserve before the next user falls victim using this BS company. DO NOT GET TOUCH BISTRO and choose another POS system.
