"I had an account with Second Closet"
I had an account with Second Closet. I stored 10 boxes with them after moved out of my house. I also stored a mattress, headboard and a dresser with this company. A total of 13 items. I set up a date for them to deliver my items and they showed up with my mattress and 3 boxes!!! I asked the movers and they just looked at baffled. Called customer service and no answers except they would look into it. It has been awhile now. Just headaches and no answers or compensate. I regret I ever trusted this company.

"Second Closet now rebranded and shifted…"
Second Closet now rebranded and shifted their business to Bolt. Lost our things and repeatedly informed us that they were looking for the items. The bin was never found and they provide compensation based on weight - sentimental items, personal items including my wedding dress is gone forever. Disappointing. I truly wish that before they shift businesses they have a look at their Yelp, Google Reviews and actually try and help their former customers locate things they've lost to right that wrong. Reading about family heirlooms gone and furniture damaged, my heart goes out to these customers. The small compensation they provided me and the supposed - one year I gave them to locate my items was likely just ignored as I was always the one who had to follow up with them to get any updates.

"Enterprise clients beware–Bolt / Second Closet lacks organisation and care for customers."
I started using Bolt / Second Closet 7 months ago and requested my items for return a month ago. The day before the scheduled return I received an email that "they have misplaced" my one-of-a-kind, vintage dining room table. Weeks later and they have yet to provide any communication on what to expect next.
I needed to regularly contact them over the last month as they never delivered on their many promises to follow up. They have demonstrated no urgency in trying to locate my item with no explanation of what comes next if they fail to locate it.
Worse, they will NOT start a claims process until 1 month after losing your item and they are completely opaque about the process. How can a business operate like this?
If you are a residential or enterprise customer considering Bolt to manage key aspects of your business–*I would strongly urge you to look elsewhere*. Their poor customer service and lack of organisation in their warehouse is likely the tip of the iceberg, it sounds like they have been focused on raising money from venture capitalists instead of working on their business and delivering value to paying customers.

"DO NOT USE, DAMAGED MY HOME, NOT RESPONDING/COMPENSATING."
The company does the delivery for IKEA in Toronto, Canada. They crashed their high truck into the bulkhead of my condo's garage, and damaged it significantly with many witnesses present, and photos available..
After 6 months, they are irresponsive, and stalling me, not replying to the damage estimate, or repair invoice which I am PERSONALLY now liable for to the condo management and my neighbors.
I have given them fair warning, for 6 months, and will be now suing them for damages. See you in court Second Closet!

"Delivery Mix-Up"
I had recalled an item from 2nd Closet storage. After confirmation with their office as to what was to be recalled on the day of the delivery the item was not the correct item. It was a bit difficult getting through to someone at 2nd Closet outside of an agent that schedules appointments to assist with the problem.
I did receive a kind email from their Head of Customer Experience who investigated the matter and did a photo inventory of all the items that I have in storage. Arrangements were made to have the correct item sent out and the other picked up and returned to storage at no charge to me. I did not rate a full 5 stars because (of the employment I have) I would have handle a situation like this a bit differently. The main thing is the situation was finally corrected and measures taken to ensure this situation did not occur again.

"I love the service!!"
I love the service, the online app was super easy to use. The truck came right within the scheduled window to pick up my furniture. The movers were very friendly and efficient, they knew what they are doing! Everything was in good order and with no hassle! They came to drop off my furniture a few days later at a new location right on time, very professional and respectful of the space. I would recommend this service to anyone I know and would definitely use them again for any future storage or moving needs.

"Wonderful Service"
I recently had to close my account with Second Closet because I moved and had space to store my possessions with me. I tried to book it online myself but as I currently live outside their service area I had to reach out through phone.
I must say that the service I received was wonderful and Alexia was more than kind to me during the time. Despite reaching out late at night she returned my call and kept me updated on the status of my request through the week. Not only that, but the return was quick and the movers were kind and compassionate.
Everything came back in one piece, nothing was broken or scratched. Should I ever move into their storage area again and need to put a few things in storage I would reach out to them.

I love this company! Great service and customer support. Paying 1/3 of what I would pay at a traditional storage company where you have to lug everything there yourself.

Second Closet is fantastic! They picked up and returned my items without any issue, and in fact the movers were not only courteous, but they were respectful of covid protocols as well! I’d highly recommend them.
