"The shipment arrived in almost 2 days"

The shipment arrived in almost 2 days, but we should have waited to order as temps were in the upper 90s. We were the last shipment off the UPS truck and it was late in the day. The cold packs were melted, but the fish and lobster were still cool, but the plastic bags they were packed in had opened and leaked through the paper bags and into the cooler. The sample boxes of soups and chowders were melted, but still cool. However they went directly with the lobsters into the freezer. My house smelled like dead fish for a few days, but the fish was excellent tasting. We only had the haddock, so far, and it was great, but was not as thick as what we experienced in the Maine restaurants we visited. But still tasted good. All in all, we would buy again, just not order it in the summer heat.

Although I live in NC I ORDERED FROM MLN because they ship me the cleanest freshest picked meat. Their live lobsters are kicking and packed in seaweed and wonderful. I’ve ordered haddock from them as well. The haddock is just ok when it arrives. The flesh is not glistening and bright white. But I know that varies from lot to lot. It is cold and certainly fills the void for us expats!

The assorted cakes were thawed upon arrival and mashed. Good quality of lobster. Two were fresher than the other two.

Absolutely delicious lobsters and shrimp. Steaks are so tender you can cut with fork. Definitely will recommend to friends and family.
