I feel I have received an excellent service from Dating Options since joining. I had no previous experience of using a personal matchmaker but it’s been a real positive. To have an ally that knows the client base so well and is able to recommend people specific for me is an outstanding resource and one I thoroughly endorse.

Based in Northumberland in a rural location has many strengths and advantages but dating is not one of them. I sought the help and expertise of Dating Options and it has been a very good experience for me working with a matchmaker. I read the article in The Guardian of the 17th August that dating apps and online sites no longer work and totally agree with that. I would urge more of you to utilize personal matchmaking and to give Dating Options a go. You may well be surprised.

Really bad experience for the price you pay. Very disappointing.

It appears there are bad reviews from women and good reviews from men - I think this shows that there are many more women than men in the database.

I have had a similar experience to all negative reviews:

1) Friendly staff when they want to rope you in, but can be passive aggressive when you challenge them.

2) People who they suggested, did not all meet my criteria, then the men did not even want to speak on the phone with you.

3) One guy I was set up with asked to borrow £2000 from me!!! This should not happen from a supposedly 'high end service’. I didn’t even get a simple apology from the agency when I informed them of this.

4) Quite a few of the 'matches' did not even know how long they had been with the service and their profiles were out of date, according to themselves. As someone is paying so much money for this service, the least the company can do, is ensure that all profiles are kept up to date.

Please do not waste your money on this company - I wish there was another way to tell more people that it is a complete con. Affects your self esteem also, which is not what a dating company should do.

I have been impressed with Dating Options. Much higher quality ladies than I was meeting online and great to have the services and sound advice from Karen my Matchmaker who is always there to work with and to provide advice. A good service and provides decent value.

I feel saddened to see negative reviews on here as for me the team at Dating Options has done me proud. I have had excellent service and some excellent matches. When I have to say online dating apps just didn’t get me anywhere.
Please disregard the negatives and give face to face dating a try.

An excellent service and one that I wholeheartedly recommend. If you have never used a personal matchmaker before then this is a much safer and higher quality alternative to trawling yourself online. There are just so many scammers out there and people who would harm you. Don’t take the risk.
