"Please Do Not USE Blueberry travel"
Blueberry Travel have been horrendous.
Everything was ok until after we had made our final payment.
They then booked the flights. ON THE WRONG DAY.
We should have flown to The Maldives (as stated on all of their paperwork to us) on Monday 10th Oct 2022, The day after our wedding, but they made an error and booked the flight on the 11th Oct not the 10th……
We spotted this immediately from their booking confirmation and contacted them immediately.
They then started with a series of lies to us about how it was “the airline's mistake”, then it was “a booking agent middle man” who had made the mistake. They assured us that they would sort things out and that "we would fly on the 10th" as they had said. "Just give us time to sort it".
After another week, and constantly being asked by them to give them more and more time, we gave up and contacted the airline directly, only to be told by the airline that Blueberry Travel had actually made the flight booking and ONLY THEY could change it. Not us. We had no ability to amend the booking, only the company who made the booking could change it. We did check and there were plenty of seats available on the flight on Monday 10th Oct, so it wasn't that that flight was full.
When we told Blueberry Travel this, they finally admitted that it was indeed their mistake, but they were "not prepared to change the incorrect flight" as it “would cost them too much money”, therefore we would only be getting 13 days of our 14 day holiday.....
We then pointed out that if we were to accept this situation, we would incur costs to change our airport parking (£20) plus the cost of a hotel room near the airport as our house was occupied with the family who were house sitting for us (£160) Blueberry Travel told us they would “sort this out and pay our costs” THEY HAVE NOT. They also offered us a “romantic meal for two on the beach” to apologise which they would book with the resort. WE RECEIVED NOTHING.
When we refused to accept the flight on the 11th and asked them to change the flight to the 10th so we could fly on the correct day, they THREATENED (and screamed and shouted at us over the phone) that if we didn’t accept the flight on the 11th that they had booked incorrectly, then they would “CANCEL OUR HOLIDAY” and we would “LOOSE EVERYTHING”.......!!!!
We felt we had been backed into a corner and had had no choice but to accept the flights as booked by them, or like they threatened, “Loose everything”.
There was also some confusion as to which Island we were actually going to.
In June 2022, Blueberry Travels informed us that we were not going to the island we had booked as it was being closed for a refurb. They had moved us to another island. Because of the debacle with the wrong flights being booked, this meant we would arrive a day later than the island was expecting us, so we contacted them (where we thought we were going), only to be told by them that they had no record of our booking…… As you might imagine, this didn’t exactly fill us with confidence. The island did however email us back 2 days later to inform us that we were in fact booked on the original island (that should have been closed but wasn't). We had heard NOTHING from Blueberry Travel about this.
When we eventually arrived in Malé airport, we were given paperwork to fill in, for the replacement island, and NOT the actual island. We pointed this out to a very confused representative who made a few phone calls and managed to sort things out. Only then were we informed that we had not been booked on a seaplane transfer. However, this was sorted out by the island's representatives, but just one more mess created by this incompetent travel agents.
So, please do yourselves a favour, and avoid this company.
Anyone can make a mistake, but it's how you correct that mistake that is important.
But surely, you don’t correct your mistakes by; lying to your customers, shouting at them over the phone, and / or threatening them. Nor do you do that by offering to book a private meal (THAT NEVER HAPPENED), offering to cover the costs of the parking change and the extra hotel (THAT NEVER HAPPENED). They did also offer us a £100 voucher off our next booking with them which we politely declined…….. I THINK NOT.
1 week before our wedding, my (now) wife was ill in bed with the stress caused by this incompetent company.

Blueberry has the most amazing people I have had the pleasure of dealing with.
We have just returned from an amazing holiday at Sun Siyam Olhuveli in the Maldives and we were treated like royalty!
Obviously, the better you tip, the better the treatment of you.
Blueberry Travels have been great from start to finish.
They kept us up to date on our travels, checked us in and did all forms on our behalf, so we didn't have to deal with the hassle.
I highly recommend them! 2nd holiday with them with no problems.

"Blueberry gives a personal touch to Customer Service"
I had to travel from the UK to Ghana in January 2022 for an important assignment by a late father-figure at very short notice.
Not only did Blueberry get me the best deal,but they guided and assisted me through all 'covid travel-protocols' from step 1 through LHR,Accra and back to LHR!
When I had to travel again in July 2022,they were my obvious choice.
