"Good Service"

I want to report a favourable experience with Joyou. The website is easy to find your way and when I need some advice I was able to get through to a nice chap on the telephone who gave me some good advice. I didn't have to experience the horror of sitting in the house all day waiting for the goods to arrive as the dispatch people kept in touch with me throughout the whole delivery process. They even carried it into the bathroom for me! Thanks to all concerned and the tap and vanity has really cheered the bathroom up.

I tried a few different bathroom product websites & stores. I found most of the other sites difficult to use. This site was refreshingly easy (maybe a bit slow at times, but that wasn't too bad)! When I found what I was looking for the entire process was straight forward. Great!

I was really happy with the quality of the products I recieved and the price I paid. The level of customer service was fantastic . I had a query about the installation which was dealt with efficiently. Looking to get a shower system next.

"Product good, customer service shocking"

The initial shower we were sent had a faulty valve, which meant that as soon as water in the house was turned out it sprayed out of the control unit. I expected to call the number listed on the website and be sent a replacement part with limited hassle. How wrong I was.
Firstly, the website states customer services are available 8am - 10pm - this is a gross exaggeration. The call centre may be be open at those times, but customer services (which seems to consist of a single adviser) is only open office hours. After 3 attempts to call (out of hours for Customer Services, or no one available) and no callbacks as promised, I finally got through to someone who then said I had to speak to an engineer on the phone to diagnose the fault. I was promised a call back the same day from an engineer, but that never materialised. After 2 more attempts the following day, I got through to the same customer services guy on my third attempt, who then called the engineer. Finally, after 7 phone calls, I spoke to the engineer who, funnily enough, recommended a replacement part after 20 seconds of talking. We've now got the replacement and it is fitted, works fine, and the quality of the product is good. Just a pity that the service was so shoddy and took so much chasing when the solution was so simple. I imagine Joyou are fine if you don't have any problems, but I'm not sure I'd trust them again.
A couple of points about the product - shower itself is good and solid. However instructions aren't great (there's parts in the box that aren't mentioned in the docs, so it takes some googling/guessing from an amateur to fit them correctly), the nuts are about 0.5mm too small, so take a lot of jimmying to get onto 15mm copper pipes, and all threads are backwards (righty loosey, lefty tighty?!)

"New Bath"

Excellent and very quick service. When its to good to be true it normally is, and this was the case with this company, ordered all the parts for a customers shower room the delivery turned up with only half the order, rang and spoke to them they tried to make out it had been delivered then changed their minds, the next day the rest was delivered but with parts missing, having made calls to the call centre i have been passed from pillar to post and 3 weeks later having emailed left messages for someone to tell me whats going on they tell me that they don't have the parts and are sorry, I have asked for a refund and have been promised this will happen today i will wait with baited breath, the service is shocking, no instructions for the shower door, the whole thing has cost me time and money and all they can say is sorry, its not good enough DONT USE THEM you will regret it.

"Bought twice from Joyou now"

I made a small order a few weeks ago just to check the quality (as the price was very good), and I have just been delivered my second order (almost two bathrooms worth), and I'm very happy - quick delivery, nice kit. Will let you know when it's all installed.

"Unreliable website, VERY poor communication"

I ordered two items and paid, including above average expensive delivery, as together the items seemed to be worth the expensive delivery. Although both items were "in stock" on website, five days after the order (WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE DELIVERED IN 3 WORKING DAYS) I was informed that one of the items was out of stock. It took another 2 weeks to be reimbursed for what I had paid for but they could not deliver. During that period there was no communication from their customer service in reply to my emails until they had no choice but to reimburse me.

I would have ordered the WHOLE ORDER elsewhere had I known they could only deliver SOME OF THE ITEMS I NEEDED. As it is, wasted time and VERY chaotic service:

Ultimately they reimbursed me but via convoluted system where - based on their automated emails - I was sent the missing item, I returned it, and on receiving it back they gave me my money back (!!). All untrue - and the out of stock item is STILL listed as "in stock" on their website!
