"I had an awful experience with service…"
I had an awful experience with service Heroes service. I called them to either fix or install a new rangehood. The electrician came on the 16th of April. He measured it and we decided to install a new one. we also decided that if he can't find the exact model, we will go for any other model as long as fit. He said he will order it and I waited and I waited weeks pass no reply... meanwhile I called the office who promised me will follow up... but until today the 7th of May, nearly a month later. Not only they didn't place the order through, but they are not even sure about the dimension still asking me to measure it again. For more than a month we are not able to cook (as Asian we like to cook stir fry dishes, rangehood is very essential).
the whole experience is so time consuming, frustrating and disappointing. now I have to call another electrician do the whole thing again.
I do hope businesses please do things honestly and efficiently. Money is not everything for a business success. Ethic, trustworthy and quality of service keep business flourishing.

"Unsafe Service Thieves"
Avoid this company at all costs. Very efficient at collecting money, but despite their core values of "safety and security is our priority" and "satisfaction guaranteed", they have not even met the bare minimum legal requirements of a house electrical rewire they completed during Covid.
I was alerted to this by another electrician who was disgusted they had left a live wire in the roof (unmarked), had not followed basic signage and placement requirements for installation of downlights, nor have they clipped any electrical cabling in the roof, presenting a potential tripping and fire hazard. They also did not provide a compliance certificate for their work.
Once I advised Service Heroes of this, the company has strung me along for the last four weeks, advising that they would need to send someone to review the job. Today they have advised that the owner / manager has not approved an electrician being sent out to review their shoddy and unsafe workmanship.
So, if you want "reliable" service and "total peace of mind", do not proceed with hiring Service Heroes. At the moment, they're Service Thieves.

6.30 isn’t a legal time to change something in a power box. I’ll be calling the office today!

"Great service, surprising fee"
Service heroes recently did an excellent job for me on a late call out to sort out our electricity. The electrician was very efficient and friendly. From the time he called to tell me he had arrived to when he had diagnosed the issue, it took only 22 minutes. I was very happy, until I got the invoice for $793.21. This consisted of an after hours call out fee (fair) and 3.5 hours of service including travel (not so fair) given I live in the Northern Beaches and Service Heroes is a local company. It took several emails and a couple of calls but they eventually relented and provided an invoice with a reasonable fee (late call out fee and 2 hours of service including travel). I'm giving two stars as the service itself was great, but the stress and inconvenience of trying to get a fair invoice made the whole experience way more bothersome than it needed to be. Normally I would ask for a quote but this was done through my strata. The cost fell to me since the fault was caused by a faulty appliance in our flat.
If you go through service heroes, I recommend you get a quote before they do any work for you (even if it is done through your strata) and make sure you record timings of the job. If I hadn't have had records of the time of arrival and time of diagnosis (a message to family to say what the problem was), I'm not sure whether I would have been listened to at all.

We had Brian today, to run a new 15amp line to a relocated hotwater service and he did a great job for a fair price.
