"This board is Solid!"

Having loved this game for over 30 years, I’ve purchased at least a Dozen Boards across my playing career. Most of those boards have been sold on, or gifted to friends and family, once I’ve bored of them…no pun intended. This Lennox however, has already joined my rare ‘Collectable’ status.

Clean Lines. Simple Design. Impactful colour scheme. The Leather field has a slightly sprung feel to it, which promotes dice roll - with a dampened thud. The padded Dice cups also contain gameplay noise to the table as opposed to surrounding tables/players.

One of my favourite features of the board - which also drew comment at the Tournament, is the harmonic frequency of the wood. There’s a slight ring to the pieces hitting the field walls, which harken to the crack of Leather on Willow. That crack only adds to the pleasure of drawing down of an early 6-1, or any doubles movement throughout the game!

I debuted the Lennox at Sydney’s weekly “Backgammoners” Tournament, where it drew lots of attention and compliments. I also went on to Win that Tournament (for the first time in a while), so I’m naturally hoping that the Bone Club Voodoo, will continue through the busy Summer Tournament series.

"Highly recommend"

Having done a lot of research while looking to buy our first backgammon board, I decided that I would quite like to buy a large board but that proved to be difficult to find with the limited budget that I had. Then I found Bone Club. Having initially seen their custom made boards which were outside of my budget, I came across their seconds boards which were exactly the size that I was after and very reasonably priced. Unsure of what seconds meant, I contacted Guy from Bone Club who explained that there would be some minor imperfections and assured me that I would not be disappointed. After much consideration I went ahead with the purchase and I have absolutely no regrets. As explained by Guy, there were some minor imperfections with the board but nothing that stuck out like a sore thumb and certainly nothing game breaking. The board is beautiful in design and a great size, as are the large checkers which have a lovely marbled effect. The smooth playing surface makes moving the checkers around nice and easy and the large checkers are solid and don’t get knocked around when hit by the dice. Both my girlfriend and I are over the moon with our purchase and absolutely love the board as well as the game. If you are after a good quality, large board, Bone Club is where you’ll find it. Guy is also very friendly, honest and helpful and always responded to my questions quickly and patiently. I cannot recommend Guy and Bone Club highly enough.

"The Board I've Always Needed"

I have hankered after a Bone Club board for some time. I love the funky styles and their whole attitude. I finally persuaded myself that I needed one and bought the least funky but perfectly formed and beautifully traditional, "A Good Tradition". It plays so smoothly and the checkers fit perfectly. Someone will, now, have to persuade me not to go for a custom board. The "Bowie" is calling me!

"Customer Service Second to None"

I’ve bought a few things from the BoneClub.co.uk my biggest purchase is a tournament board, which I love playing on, the other is a set of Bone Club dice and a Bone Club doubling dice, these were bought to replace the dice and cube for my old board, but I love the dice so much I want to order another set for my new board too, it’s a shame they don’t come with it, as this would really work with the Bone Club motif which is on the front of the board. But I will say the customer service is second to none, Guy was helpful and quick to respond to any queries I raised promptly. Really do recommend the BoneClub.co.uk 100%

"It exceeded my expectations"

After a long search for a serious backgammon board, I found, by chance, the Bone Club website and was immediately attracted by the “7 Nation Army” set for its size, its colors and last, but not least, for its interesting price, down from £179 to 119£.
Then, by exchanging e-mails with Bone Club to have info on the shipment cost, I discovered that there were a few sets with little imperfections at 99£. It seemed a good deal and I pulled the trigger.
Very happy for my decision. The board arrived yesterday. It's the first board of this size (25” by 30”) that I own and I'm amazed by its beauty.
The tones of colors are “soft”, the green-gray and violet-brown pips are perfect for the green playing field: clear enough but unobtrusive.
The checkers are 50mm in diameter and they are not black and white as the website says : they are marbleized black and marbleized white ! and with “finger dish”, which is a plus to me.
The board is a seconds board? May be, I forgot to look for the imperfections (very minor, actually)!
It's not a bargain, it's a steal.

"Luxury and quality Excellent"

I played Backgammon in the 1970s and loved the game. But as time went on, the set was stored until about a year ago. Although it was dusty and worn, we played the game endlessly.
Then I thought about a Christmas present and decided to upgrade our board.
With the internet, I was able to go outside of my comfort zone to purchase a backgammon board either within or outside of the U.S., and I was able to decide on the perfect board and its features.
I found many U.S. sites with all the boards I needed or even wanted, but found the cost and the luxury quality I required did not match.
In my search, I found the Bone Club and the perfect backgammon set. After leaving a text and asking more questions, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Guy, who lives in the U.K...
Because of the holidays approaching quickly, and I needed a backgammon board now, and he and I were able to locate the right color, style for my price range.
Within a week, I received my board with no problems at all. The board exceeded my expectations, and communication was exceptional.
I recommend The Bone Club in the U.K. for a luxury board, and I would never hesitate to purchase additional products from them.
