The best way to describe Tony’s service is reassuring. Buying my first house was daunting enough, especially since I decided on a period property. I knew the house wasn’t going to be perfect, and I needed a surveyor who would judge it according to the age and how it was built, not through the lens of a new-build. Tony was just that person. His advice was sound, but not alarmist, especially when it came to damp. He is very knowledgeable on the subject, and was very clear and realistic about what needs to be done short term and also what can wait for a couple years.
