"So far so good!"

We just recently signed up a few months ago and I must say so far so good, Bench is delivering an exceptional service. It’s easy scheduling a quick meeting with my bookkeeper for any questions or changes that need to be adjusted with our books, it’s also nice having a tax consultant who can answer any of our tax questions. We’re very grateful to have this service as our schedule is super busy it’s a huge weight off our shoulders knowing we got professionals handling our bookkeeping and tax preparation so we can focus on our business. Worth the money so far.

We have been using Bench Accounting since July 2023. While I am sure they are very experienced, i have been away from accounting for seven years.
I would have liked a better way of communicating such as zoom or emails instead of the area on the right side of the Bench Accounting Overview page. You would have your documents that you neede from me a little faster. i do not log into Bench everyday so this means you have to wait for me. Perhaps a short weekly discussion by zoom would be better just to make sure things are moving along smoothly.

"Impossible to end services with them"

Impossible to end services with them. We tried to end our contract in early 2023. They said the earliest we could do it was October. We tried in December they said we had to have done it by November and now we must use their horrible services for a second year in a row after trying to cancel. Be wary. We want to hire our own personal bookkeeper who we choose going forward but we've been stuck with them and their $300 a month fee.

Working with Bench has been a complete nightmare. I've been bounced around to so many people it's absurd. They were so late in getting my extension taxes done that I now have to file a paper return for my business. Once I finally received my tax return, they attached another client's coversheet with their names and refund amount. Talk about mistakes that should have never happened.

Bench has made my bookkeeping extremely simple. The onboarding process was very thorough. Although it did seem like a few small details got lost in translation through the multiple people I spoke with to get started... however that was an easy fix once I got to speaking with my bookkeeper.
Every month they request the documents they need and voila, everything is entered and is easily translated for me. Highly recommend!

I'm going into my 3rd year sing Bench. I love the service. They've taken care of my back bookkeeping for my businesses and my taxes. It is such a great thing to help take something off my plate being a solo team doing everything. Lauren H. was also amazing with helping me get my next business set.

The service has always been good. But, the fact that they have a proprietary back-end makes it a little tough to switch in the future. Also, the pricing is great for larger businesses (or those with high expenses), but seems to price out smaller businesses.
