Currency trading is an art and science way outside most people’s comfort zone, and while its theory aspects can be mastered over a period of time and training, the mindset of handling losses as well as gains is an alien concept, especially to high achievers used to winning.

As a consultant and instructor in three fields unrelated to the finance industry I am familiar with the depth of knowledge and teaching skills required to bring people from zero to working proficiency.

"The course instructor seemed to dislike me."

The course instructor took a personal dislike to me, I asked too many questions I guess. At the end he seemed to be ignoring my questions and ignoring my requests.

Not explaining stuff because we haven't got to that yet (more like we never got to it). In any case there is no harm in a little repetition, it helps people learn.

The instructor who was an ex trader with a big bank seemed more interested in showing how good he was than in making us good! Our one-to-one of supposed implementation (day 3 and final day of the main course) was just us all watching him trade. I thought we would be doing something ourselves. Maybe most of day 3 could be us watching him do stuff and at the end we would get a chance to do something ourselves.

That said, Smart Charts are generally a good company with nice helpful people.

And the software itself which I paid £5K for is quite good as it goes (but I understand it is cheaper now), it makes your life a lot simpler, but it is a little buggy.

SmartCharts is an amazing platform to learn to trade, clear and concise information to help you make the right decision to execute or not to trade.
I am always learning something new everyday, reviewing recorded coaching sessions is a great way to listen in your free time, and learn from the expert coaching staff, also the online tutorial is just a great tool for reviewing how to trade.

"I started learn to trade in 2023"

I started learn to trade in 2020, but unfortunately I had a death in the family shortly after starting my course. The customer service were very helpful and allowed me to freeze my course to I was ready to continue. I since have, re-zoomed my trading course and even though finding it very difficult after Six weeks I am now starting to enjoy and understand the coaches advice.

I am still on a Demo Account. My first 15 trades yielded 6 wins and 9 losses (40% success). My last 15 trades are at 11 wins and 4 losses (73% success).
