We didn't need customer service, so I can't comment on that aspect of things. However, our order arrived really quickly, and the biltong is delicious - the best we've had since we moved to the UK 5 years ago.

"Lost a loyal client as no response to several emails"
Such a shame this company has no respect for its loyal clients, despite 3 emails and filling in their query form online I had no response to my query for nutritional values of their Biltong, it suggests a high carbohydrate content that they are not willing to share.
I have subsequently purchased elsewhere who provided the carbohydrate value very quickly indeed, disappointing company response ( or lack of)
Seems to be their normal behaviour according to several other reviews.

Worst biltong I’ve ever had. Pictures on website are beautiful. Product is awful. Butchers choice completely inedible. Had to spit nearly every bit into the bin. Customer service non existent. Ignored all communication. Don’t waste your money like I did.

"Once good, Now BAD!!! "
Purchased from Limpopo Biltong for a long time with out any issue, and always next day delivery with DPD, this time i received a email from everi confirming the order to collect but status never changed for 3 days so looked like they had not been given the item or not collected it, thought I would drop a quick email but when I didn’t get a reply I followed up with a call that was directed to voicemail left a msg asking to call, however no call back or email received my package 7 days later I tried on several occasions to call not once did anyone answer the call or even call me back I have also followed up with email ………… and to date no call back or email - Biltong we got was not the usual standard either not sure what’s going on but I will not be purchasing from them again …..things happen in life and this I understand but it’s how you deal with it that makes the difference.

"Not received my order"
Not received my order, and seems I should have checked the reviews before ordering!
Same issue as others, got an email saying the order was shipped, but courier claims to not have received the package yet. Been almost weeks now, NEVER ORDERING HERE AGAIN!
Go to Susmans Best Beef Biltong instead! They deliver and its great!!!

Do NOT order from them!!! Their process is abysmal!! I have been waiting for ten days, they don't react to emails, and now the COURIER responded saying that despite the claims that it would be delivered today, the company (i.e. Limpopo) still hasn't sent the good!! Again - do NOT shop with them!

"No biltong, no explanation, no refund. Go elsewhere!"
I have been ordering from Limpopo for years and have recommended them to many people. I wanted a treat for Christmas so I ordered over a £100 worth of biltong and droewors. Well aren't I the biggest fool on the planet. I hadn't bothered to check the current reviews because I was familiar with them but they are not the same anymore. I placed my order on Thursday at around 10:00am expecting it to be on a Next Day delivery. All of Thursday no sign of it being despatched. On Friday it still hadn't been despatched. Emailed to make sure that they don't try for a Saturday delivery, email was ignored. On Saturday, nothing. Calls went unanswered. On Monday, still not despatched so emailed again. Email was ignored. Emailed again and received a response saying it was despatched. I was hopeful. I shouldn't have been. Tuesday now and APC are saying they haven't got the parcel and to revert to the sender. Sent another email but received an automated reply saying it could take 48 hours to respond by which point I will have left the delivery address for the year. Absolute waste of mine and my colleagues money. My advice is do not order from them. They used to be great but now they are the absolute worst. It's a gamble whether you get your order or not and if you don't get it, they don't respond but will keep your money. Avoid, avoid, avoid! Save yourself some pain and just order elsewhere. I'm going to try Snoggys. The quality is great and their service cannot be worse than Limpopo.

"I love "proper" biltong and thought I…"
I love "proper" biltong and thought I had found a good supplier. I have purchased a number of times before and been generally very happy with their product, however my most recent item arrived with off meat. I have tried to contact them via email and phone and both have been ignored for near on a week. What a shame, their customer service really lets them down. Im aware how to store and haven't made a complaint before when I think the meat being off could have been down to my own fault, but this arrived smelling and tasting rotten. Poor show Limpopo!

"Never Delivered my Order, Ignored Emails & Phone Calls"
They advertise overnight shipping (next day delivery) for orders placed before 1pm. I ordered some boerie and biltong at 09:30am on Monday 02/12/2024 it's now Friday and nothing ever arrived. I contacted the courier APC, who said all the tracking numbers supplied (Limpopo sent three - weird) appeared valid, but no order was ever raised with them to deliver to me.
I emailed them and called their "Head Office" and other numbers several times left voice mails - no response.
Got an instant refund through PayPal which surprised me and makes suspect that they are well known to PayPal for these types issues. 🤔.
I initially reshared them on facebook as a family member had shared them, quickly deleted that post! Will be sharing this experience with said family member instead.
