Chris Daniels is a highly accomplished teacher who knows how to get the best learning response from each child. My daughter struggles to learn in class, so he has individualised his teaching method just for her. He knows the school curriculum inside out so can easily spot where students need extra help. He is kind and approachable and she looks forward to her lessons with him. Very highly recommended.

My daughter joined Year 4 after we relocated from Dublin. She had to move up a year, and the curriculum is more challenging than Ireland. She was really struggling but working with Chris has really helped her. He's helped diagnose and decide the areas to focus on that will make the most impact, in both Maths and English. He works with her every week and recommended resources we can work on at home in the week. She really enjoys the lessons and is getting her confidence back about school, now she has a plan in place! Feeling helpless and having no one to turn to when being so close to your reaching your desired career is something I’d never wish upon anyone. It was my last teaching placement and I started to see signs of my unsupportive mentors. Chris heard my cry for help and instantly took the time to get me on track and support me regardless of how many hours or days he scheduled to support me! His amazing mentoring approach not only helped me create engaging, inclusive lesson plans meeting all diverse needs for my pupils but shaped me to teach confidently when I was constantly being knocked down in placement by my teacher mentor who came across as overly negative. Chris fought for me to keep going into profession no matter what my teacher mentor had to throw at me. Pushing me from day to day to give me confidence which I didn’t know I had and his preparation helped me to smash my teacher observations enabling me to meet all the teacher standards, again because of Chris! He did the job that my teacher and uni mentor should of done to support me, I still think it would be amazing if he was a mentor for trainee teachers as there would be less teacher anxiety with his well structured guided approach! With his endless creative, engaging resources and tips on lesson planning/deliverance I guarantee you will stand out amongst any other teacher like I did on my placement! His work and dedication to educate me and having a emphatic mentoring approach guided me to the point of receiving so many positives and recognition in my teaching practice. He is a mentor which I think anybody on my teacher course or anyone needing career advice to make it in life as well as a successful teacher!! There are lots of trainee teachers who are voiceless and being forced to put up with unsupportive mentors who plan to give up on you or give false hope in my case, Chris is the blessing you need to make it through!!
