Went to golf mates travel this year to book our annual society trip to le touquet after a bad experience with a different company last year. Everything prior to the trip was top quality in terms of service / communication and especially price!! On the trip everything ran like clockwork with no issues whatsoever. A friend and his wife booked a surprise golfing package for my 50th birthday, we paid in full for Round of golf for 2, and Dinner, Bed and Breakfast for 4 (2 couples) at a really great rate only to be emailed today by Golf Mates Travel to say they can't honour it anymore. However for an extra £30 each we can have just bed & breakfast! Over promised, under delivered!

"Brilliant at communication when taking…"

Brilliant at communication when taking your money. Once they have it all and everything's sorted its like off you go and all you get it's radio silence. They moaned and moaned about getting us a 4th round which we have had 3 years running. I even asked the resort and said it was fine if our booking company sorted it 2 days before. When I emailed to remind golfmates I heard nothing back from 2 emails. Also advertising all the practice facility's are free which they are not. It's 5€ for a token for the driving range. We had a great trip and I easily sorted the 4th round on our second day.

Rating woukd be 3.5 stars but I can only give 3 and the communication once paid doesn't warrant a 4

Thanks to Pete for sorting out our 3 rounds in the Algarve. Easy to deal with, great communication and much cheaper than I could have got by going direct. Will definitely be using again.
