"Wonderful experience, great photos!"

A few years back I traveled to the UK from California, and was able to do a shoot with Brock for his Vitiligo series. It was a freezing cold, rainy day, the trains were all running late, I had no cell reception, and I was in an unfamiliar country, so I was very stressed out. But as soon as I got to his place, he was so kind and welcoming that I immediately felt at ease. I had a great experience being photographed by him! And the photos turned out so amazing, I will cherish them forever.

As a charity we worked in partnership with Brock to produce a series of portraits of children and adults affected by a rare skin condition. The project raised major awareness of the condition on an international level, as well as increasing the self esteem and confidence of all those who were photographed. I had an immense feeling of liberation after my shoot with Brock where I was lucky enough to feature in his vitiligo series. for over 40 years I had hidden my vitiligo and was encouraged to finally be my true self after seeing the incredible subjects who had showcased their uniqueness throughout the Vitiligo series. It was both an honour and a life changing expierience to have been fortunate enough to take part.
