The place needs serious cleaning. My wife had to do thorough cleaning on day 2 and she came across dirt under the sofa and fridge that has been there for a long time because it was stuck on the floor for some time. There are multiple cock roaches crawling in every room. That on its own is a serious turn off. There is no DSTV and the remote was not working. Water leaks when you take a shower and spills onto the toilet floor. There is no towel in the kitchen.

Very good experience when booking a self catering appartement in Knysna.
Very bad experience when trying to book a self catering cottage at Boschendal (Stellenbosch). First SA-Venues coudn't tell me the vacancies in a period of 10 days. Then the price should be doubled. When I asked about the price, it suddenly shoud be four times as high as first indicated.

Booked penthouse according to your information - paid and then establishment tells me the penthouse has not been rented out for past three years! They don't know anything about your site advertising them.
Why do you advertise it, take my money, confirm the booking with emails, etc. and ALL FOR NOTHING!
Also there is no contact no. or real-time support from you.
Will never use SA-venues.

I’ve used SA-Venues on several occasions over the past decade. This experience won’t encourage me - a simple request, repeated 3 times following NO response, to pay the total and not just the deposit. Still no response. 😓😓
