I'm in the process of ordering a Media Converter I need in a hurry.
In the Netherlands iDeal payment to a webshop is instantaneously and they support it. I ordered on monday

After some chat and mail sessions (they kept being very polite ;) ) it took till thursday to receive my payment. Now the order can finally be shipped and I'm confident that this process will work as it should.

My recommendation would be to clearly warn iDeal users that payments can get delayed. In my case it will be way faster to just transfer the money via iDeal to my Paypal account and then pay from there. iDeal to Paypal is also instantaneous.

I needed a few fiber patch cables with different connectors in both ends, and I needed them in a non-standard color (white instead of bright yellow) since they are visible in my living room. In spite of only needing three cables (these are low-price items of less than 2 euro each), Della from the sales department was very helpful and put in my order with their factory, who special-made them for me at a very minimal extra price (price stayed below 2 euro each, but of course shipping from halfway around the globe was a bit more expensive).

I was particularly impressed by how helpful they were in spite of the profit from a sale like this probably being far less than the time spend on handling it. :-)
