"BottomCV would be more appropriate "
Free appraisal was recommended by Indeed, which came back within 1 day. Great, agreed with all the issues, and paid for the rewrite £129. Two weeks later, nothing. Just an email saying we're understaffed and we'll be as quick as possible. Asked for a refund. Passed from one department to another. No one took responsibility. They all have names like Daniel and Sarah, when they're clearly working out of India. No problem with that, as at my previous role, we used multiple developers from around the world - who delivered on deadline. Still waiting for my refund. This is my career and livelihood - I have recruiters waiting in my brand new CV, I've missed jobs because I don't have an optimised CV. I just want my money back so I can use someone else who'll actually rewrite it properly and not just run it through ChatGPT. Avoid.

"It started off a bit bumpy but ended perfect!"
It started off a bit bumpy as my first writer did not deliver but the customer support was very reactive and handpicked a wonderful writer to me and now I have an amazing cv thanks to her. Many thanks!

"ATS score - way of selling service"
I decided to get TopCV service knowing that my previous CV was not getting a good ATS score. Before taking up a service, I checked that rewriting and using their expertise would help to improve ATS score and it was confirmed.
However, post taking the service, certainly CV has improvement, but experienced little to no improvement to ATS score, and lot of unconvincing reasoning provided behind not improving the score even after rewriting by the writer. This incident was total breach of trust.

"How well detailed the areas of…"
How well detailed the areas of improvement have been identified. I was not even aware all along I was selling myself short in the job market. You guys are good and it's up to me to take the constructive criticism and shape up my CV for the better. Thank you so much 😊

"Not really impressed"
I have to say, the CV I received back isn't better than what I started with. It's more verbose and says a lot of things I am now a bit embarrassed I signed off on, but I don't think it is better.
Also, I got the "Executive" package where I paid more for a Linkedin rewrite and a cover letter. The Linkedin content seems an after thought (it mirrors my CV a lot and was delivered late). The cover letter is unusable and to be honest it looks like it was spat out of ChatGPT.
For £220 odd pounds, this is pretty poor. In any case, I did learn somethings about ATS etc... But I think this is overstated in order to sell their CV service.

"Disappointing and slow"
Frankly, the price charged does not match the outcome!
They claim to be interactive, yet, other than my previous CV version, no additional information was sought from me.
After the first draft, I provided feedback and some minor changes were made, but still it looked like something any of today's AI app could do in 30 seconds.
I wrote to TopCV and explained my disappointment and was told that the CV they produced meet their standards. What does that mean? are my comments not valued.
Additionally, it took them 6 days to match my needs with a CV writer.

"They are absolutely useless!"
They are absolutely useless! I ended up making the CV myself! Drafts are sent with spelling mistakes and some random generated ChatGPT stuff! They are using the same template words for everyone. I wouldn't pay £9 for such service.
