"I purchased this bat bag on 12/26/24 as…"

I purchased this bat bag on 12/26/24 as a birthday present for our son's birthday in January. We live in Ohio, so this is the off season, but its quickly approaching come March. He went to put his bats in his new bat bag on 2/6/25 and they did not fit in the slots provided. They are USA bats with the bigger barrel. I contacted the company and told them that this bag was not advertised properly and the baseball bats do not fit in the bag. I also mentioned that the inside of the bag had a ton of frayed strings that I had to trim (prior to knowing the bats didn't fit) to prevent further fraying. I'm and honest person so I have no problem telling the truth about the quality of something. This was an inexpensive bag so I was just trying to make if work without returning by cutting the frayed strings but there were prob 15-20 frayed strings. The bag did not arrive with a tag on it but did have the plastic string attached that the tag would have been on. (I was accused of removing the tag by customer service.) My response from customer service was this return was past the 30 days return policy and they would not accept it even though it was falsely advertised as this: DeMarini Spectre Baseball and Softball Backpack. My order was delivered on January 2nd 2025 and my email was 2/6/25 so this was literally 5 days past their return policy. This absolutely ridiculous and very poor customer service. When I told the customer service representative that I would be sure to write a review of my experience I was accused of "slander" (lying) about my experience. If you would like me to forward my email conversation I will gladly. Very poor way to run a company.
