My experience with the day hab was fantastic,from day 1 when I emailed them to book in the team was very welcoming an so helpfull,made me feel at ease straight away,the group sessions are really helpful an enjoyable, I am now coming up to 10 months sober, I really could not of done it with the day hab.

Thank you Michael Pavey for your guidance to getting my Stepdaughter Stacey Bridgman into Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation at Steps Together Rehab in Leicester.
Stacey originally went to Steps Together for a period of 28 days! She is doing so well with her rehabilitation that she has asked to extend her stay for another 2 weeks so that she can get to Step 4 successfully - Michael and the whole team at Steps Together have made contact with both my husband and myself to keep us updated on Stacey's recovery and made us both feel at ease with the situation.
We speak to Stacey on a daily basis and we can see from our facetime calls that she has already overcome a lot of her demands. I could not have asked for better from team to keep Stacey on track for her recovery. We can not thank you enough for the help and contact that we have received from Michael and Steps Together.

Michael and Jane were recommended to me by a fellow addict. I was nervous to start with but Michael and Jane were so very supportive all throughout the whole process. They listened to my situation and gave me the tools and suggestions to help manage a possible way out of my addiction. Always readily available and gave honest and truthful feedback and regarding what i needed to do. They kept in touch and continued to support me over quite a few months including phone calls and emails. They both have a wealth of experience that they can pass onto their clients and also trusted doctors that can recommend the best way forward in terms of medication. They have both been brilliant and i credit my current status to them and their support. If i feel that i need additional support in the future, I won't hesitate to contact them.

Help 4 Addiction have just supported me through an 8 day home detox from Alcohol. From the time my parents enquired about the home detox to having a phone consultation with Dr Iqbal and detox medication prescribed was a matter of days. Dr Iqbal was informative, empathetic and encouraging which put me at ease from the start as in previous detox's I have found the Consultant Psychiatrist's impersonal and disinterested in the patient.

In addition the speed in which I was able to start the detox was brilliant. If it wasn't for Help 4 Addiction I would have had to go down the route of using the local drug and alcohol agency which I have done so in the past, this would have taken anything from 8 weeks to 3 months and only leads to my physical and mental health getting considerably worse.

I would like to say a huge thank you also to Michael who called me everyday he was kind compassionate, knowledgeable and had a sense of humour which really helps when your detoxing. He was great at suggesting meetings and advice for how to continue after the detox.

Overall I had a comfortable detox from alcohol and am now sober and could not recommend this service more highly.

"Truly thankful"

I can’t thank Help4addiction enough for how much they have help my family. I had rung so many different help line to get help and never got no where. Michael was so helpful and really informed me on what to do and when our family addict was ready. He help us with family support and also advices us what rehab was better for my cousin to take. Without their help I don't think he would be where he is now in his road to recovery. Michael called all the time to see where we was at with him and even how he was after he started his treatment. I would highly recommend them. Everything he said has come together and has work. Deeply thankful.

I have had help from Help4addiction from two advisors both of whom have been amazing. Michael was especially wonderful in helping my son make the decision to get help for his addiction issues. Without their help I don't think my son would be where he is now in his road to recovery. I have found their willingness to listen and to help find solutions invaluable.
