"Disappointed"
I am disappointed about how the decision to move from 47 to 16 was communicated to us. The decision to give us so little notice shows your lack of confidence in the move and fear of losing clients. Although you branded 16 as a law center, none of the decor choices reflect a law firm. Instead it looks like a tech company. It doesn't appear that you took into consideration the opinions of lawyers or have been responsive to concerns expressed. The choice of round tables in conference rooms where many of us are in adversarial situations is problematic. The decision to have break out rooms with coffee tables makes no sense. I have tried several times to effectively use the rooms and have been unsuccessful. Furthermore, it has taken 5 months for Beth to respond to my emails regarding getting new stationary. The bright side is that Gwen and Grant are awesome.

We love having our office with Amata! The commons area is a great open space which is perfect for meetings and focused work. The Amata employees go above and beyond to create a great environment and experience for us. Great place!

"Amata Provides Pretty Much Whatever You Need."
Our firm has numerous advantages leasing from Amata, instead of dealing directly with a landlord. To start, the offices themselves are in prime locations, with optimal views, when possible. For a small price, you can use large or small conference rooms, too. Next, our receptionist is professional, friendly, upbeat, and excellent with clients, both in person and when answering our phones. She is also helpful in numerous other little things, with a "No Problem" attitude. When she is unavailable, she is replaced by equally qualified and friendly people.
We have a spacious kitchen area, with multiple places to sit, a large fridge and freezer, and a (usually) stocked vending machine featuring assorted soft drinks and various snacks. It also has 6-8 Keurig coffees and teas to choose from, as well as plates, bowls, cups, glasses, a pure water dispenser, microwave, toaster, ice machine, sink, dishwasher, and large television, usually showing CNN News.
Amata offers per-hour usage of paralegals, and our office managers are extremely competent and always available to help out. And about every month, there is an Amata-sponsored event (pizza get-together, ice cream socials, room contests, etc.) that are fun and free. They have also developed an on-line service for networking among Amata "members", and an attorney forum called AmataNet, to find an attorney in a field you are unfamiliar with.
Amata truly seems committed to its tenants, and provides, as I entitled this review, pretty much whatever you need!

Top quality all around. Friendly and professional staff, clean and newly built centers, close to all transportation hubs, far better than any of their competitors in Chicago. Highly recommend and have been a member since 2011.

I swear I don't work for these people, but I genuinely LOVE Amata. The staff is super friendly and I have referred a lot of my friends to join us at the office because of the great environment, updated building, and wonderful experience.
