Website FAQs states..."We aim to provide a first class claims service and undertake to respond within 5 working days of receipt of correspondence." 16 working days later (plus two phone calls to them) I've heard absolutely nothing other than receiving an automatic email. Verbal response from call handler (24/9)..."A claims handler will aim to review your claim by the end of next week" i.e. another 8 working days. V poor service. Note to Free Spirit - please do not respond with "very busy after summer season"... I'm not interested in that... you should've planned for it obviously!
Update 11/10/24 - still nothing... blaming the underwriter (Bspoke Accident & Health) for the delay. policy no. FST/284682/2024

Always very efficient and system easy to use. However, I did raise a query with a lady on the support desk about need to complete the full medical screen again. I only returned from the USA 2 weeks ago, had to go to Paris for one night but had to go through entire screening again. Only takes about 15 minutes, but given visits so close in time, maybe recognising this and asking if anything has changed re health status may be sufficient to process?

After trying to complete an online application and not sure about some of the health questions I decided to call. The agent was extremely patient and answered all my questions in a reassuring way. Very happy with the service and the cost.
