My experience.
A synopsis of events

I filled out the online order request and paid £529.77 to have my book printed; ten copies in all.
What could be simple, or what could go wrong – all that was required was to print?

I arranged dates and times for my colleague from the USA to come by and pick them up and deliver them to a contact in Jordan (He was en-route there) where he was to present the books to various vendors for possible sales.
The books duly arrived, all ten copies nicely shrink-wrapped.

I opened one for inspection and my heart sank, not only was there a spelling mistake on the spine the page to cover was not glued properly and separated as I opened the book; I did the same with all the other books and found the same problem.

Suffice to say my colleague was a little disappointed that his time had been wasting and I had to reimburse him for his train fair and taxi rides totalling £175.

I contacted Sam who was dealing with my order and was met with excuses via e-mail and ‘phone. The books were duly sent back and replacements sent to me. These replacements were significantly glued down but I now have found that some of the pages are now lifting from the covers.

On top of all this I asked for the same book (An additional charge of £50 was asked for?) to be printed in GLOSS, this took 6 week; apparently Sam had left and now Caroline had taken up my order.

This book did arrive; although the contents were GLOSS and to my horror the cover was MATT finish!!
If that wasn’t enough the page to cover was badly glued down; the front page even had a foreign object sticking through the page, the back page has also come apart too. (Images were sent back showing the anomalies’, all I got was “I can’t see what is wrong?”

This book has been a labour of love; hundreds of hours of research were put into the project from documents at the Royal Mint Museum and the National Archives at Kew, London.

As a pensioner and on low income I find that not only did I not get value for money I fell that I have been taken for a fool.

I was very happy and impressed with the quality of the printed books. I created a cookbook for my mother to celebrate her years of cooking and baking.
The price was very good and the team were very helpful and prompt answering any of my questions.

If you are like me not very experienced in creating books I would suggest using the team to support you.
I did find it a bit tricky laying everything out. I was very lucky to have a friend who was brilliant and created all my pages on a pdf for me yo upload and could understand the bleed requirements.

I would recommend this company and they have some lovely templates.
