I am an older transwoman, 70 y.o. to be exact. I suffered migraines almost daily for over 35 years due to the way I hid my true identity. The migraines went away after coming out to family and friends. Dysphoria really is the pits!

Anyway, I got my wife's agreement to begin medically transitioning so I could be completely happy before I leave this earth. Julie Putt at TrueU Clinic has been nothing short of spectacular in assisting me. I am 2 months into feminizing hormone treatment and have never felt better.

TrueU Clinic is simply the best.

I cannot even begin to describe how grateful I am to the folks at this clinic. From day 1 I have been treated with immense compassion, kindness, and care. More importantly, I feel listened to! Beginning my journey, I felt so scared, nervous, and I honestly wanted to cry from stress. Working with Natalie at True U Clinic has been some of the best and most considerate treatment I have ever had from any medical clinic. I honestly and truly feel like a person and not treated as some random patient who's just a number.

They've worked around my schedule, explained everything in detail, explained medications, explained what treatment entails, and what to expect. They also ask how I'm doing, what I'm feeling, and what changes I have noticed as time has gone on. They actually care and you can tell that their heart is in this work and in their service. I am so grateful for their care, truly.

All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you. Without their help, I wouldn't be on my journey to becoming me.

"Professional and Compassionate. Simply just Amazing People"

I am sure there are many competent clinics available, however, you will never find more professional, caring and compassionate people then you will at True U.

As this is the most difficult thing I’ve ever written, and only due to the fact that I cannot find the words to express myself, it is quite lengthy for a review, I apologize in advance.

I had my first appointment with True U November of 2019, 3 weeks before my 56th birthday. Due to obligations in life, I placed my transitioning last on the list. What I thought was going to be the happiest time in life, outside of the birth of my sons, was met with an extended layoff. Enough backstory.

Due to financial issues, I dropped off and postponed lab work and appointment after appointment. I would receive emails from Julie, not pressuring but just checking on me. I would make an excuse to hide my embarrassment of not being able to afford treatment. I would save up money for labs and appointments then save for medications never revealing my financial issues. Julie never failed to send a follow up email to check on me and work around my “schedule”. How I missed the signature block for months is beyond me, however, Julie, not the person scheduling appointments rather, the Clinical Director, took the time to check on me. Amazing.

My NP, Melissa, I am still at a loss of words and cannot express the professionalism and compassion she has shown at every instant. Once I finally revealed my financial issues because I could not afford continued treatment, that was all I needed to do. Julie helped out by working with me on payments and Melissa researched alternative medications that were more affordable. Melissa, even when out of town and on a Sunday, took the time to text me and follow up to see if I was able to get my meds. When I said I couldn’t, back to work they both went until I could.

Going above and beyond isn’t anything special for them. It is their normal. It is very comforting to know I have such an awesome team at my side through this remarkable journey

"One of the best out there"

I love True U, I found them after some online searching for a quality transgender health care clinic and I couldn't be happier with my experience. Reasonable pricing, always quick and reliable with any questions you may have, and they offer such a wide variety of services for anything you could need. They also have an excellent referral service for other things you may need that they don't offer. It's great I can use my insurance to pay for labs and hormones as well, it saves me a fortune! 10/10 would recommend to anyone seeking quality care.

"Amazing."

I’ve been with True U Clinic since June 2020 of this year. I had a few obstacles in the road in my life and couldn’t start until I came back in October. As soon as I came back for my second appointment, Melissa really helped me get on Testosterone, even if my insurance refused to cover it at first, until she and Julie both got my insurance to cover it. I’m currently two weeks and two days on Testosterone as of today(11/18/20) and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you Melissa, and thank you Julie for helping me be my true self.

"Faith, restored!"

I have had some terrible, and I mean , experiences with doctors on my HRT journey. Without insurance, most clinics will not offer me medical care and I was very happy to find a place that was willing to work with me in continuing my testosterone, my appointment was made with Ashby and they have been very informative and patient with me in finding out information THREE other doctors failed to tell me and I was able to re-start my HRT quickly and safely since they partner with labs in my area for affordable bloodwork options. Had nothing but great, and highly educational experiences with TrueU

I wana thank everyone for standing up and helping out I talked with amber who is amazing she set me up with a doc name Julie who after meeting I felt one hundred with being me they sent me to my local doc to get blood drawn and then sat down talked about risk and even cared enofe about my current medical condition that she worked hard to get me started on my path of self complete theses ppl are amazing and I love that they work with you and help u accomplish your gools sinserly Natasha

"Wonderful Clinic"

I've had an amazing experience with True U Clinic. My first appointment I had with Natalie I felt safe and comfortable and that I could be completely honest and be myself. She trusted me in how I know myself and that's a big deal. After the first appointment I was set up to start testosterone and get blood work done. It felt so good to be able to be have a process that was caring and fast. True U keeps in touch with you as well to make sure you're doing well.
