I bought 3 pairs of alpaca leggings, nearly $600, and despite following the seller's guidelines for washing them, they've shrunk. And, they continue to shrink, o3nly now in the length too. The seller has refused to accept any responsibility and is actually blaming me. Nice! I will never buy anything from woollykins again which in my opinion is way overpriced and for the product I got. I've received far superior and cheaper alpaca clothing through etsy. Won't be making the woollykins mistake again.
Woollykins was started by Brenna Jensen after moving to Melbourne from the UK in 2011 with our then 3 year old. As a new mother, Brenna struggled to find the brands available here that she had fallen in love with when clothing her first baby and since her family was growing she wanted to introduce these nurturing natural pieces to other Australian families.
Woollykins loves wool. It’s a renewable natural fibre that does everything you want clothes to do for your precious babies – it’s breathable, nurturing, regulates temperature, practical, mendable, easy to clean and long lasting.
Woollykins looks for clothing that honours the need for children to play, move and be independent and almost all of our pieces have been tried and tested by the daily rigours of their own three young boys, handed down, mended and worn throughout the year.
Woollykins believes in sourcing timeless classics that are not influenced by fashion but chosen on more sustainable principles to do with longevity of wear, value for money, ethical production using sustainable fabrics and fibres from organically farmed sources. Clothing by their major brands Disana, Engel-Natur and Cosilana all carry the GOTS label or IVN Best label which is the industry's highest ecological and socially responsible standard for textiles.
Woollykins best selling range is our Disana Nappy System that many parents are re-discovering as they turn away from the mountains of disposable nappy waste and opt for a more affordable and sustainable nappy system. They truly believe that the Disana nappies are the most natural, easy to use, economical, long lasting and plastic free nappy system around. It was first developed in the 70s and designed by mothers and midwives to provide the best comfort and support for your baby.
Above all Woollykins wants Mums and Dads to feel supported in their journey as parents by their beautiful collection of natural clothing.
