"Almost 40% in 6 months!! ....."
I used to love ordering from here and would do so every couple of months! I mean the shakes are amazing tasting and mix well! However their recent price hikes are just insane! I used to order the 2kg (4.4lbs) of Whey isolate for $75.99 (in December) now it is $119.99!! That is an almost 40% increase in 6 months!! I will not be ordering again at these new prices!

"Okay product, terrible customer service."
I feel like the overall quality of Canadian Protein has been going down over the years. I've had a couple bags with their resealable mechanism broken upon arrival, changes in flavor within the same products, and now changes in their products and ingredients that go unadvertised even if you have a subscription. Soduim amount going up, scoop size going up, protein remaining the same.
I've also experienced, what I'd call, apathetic responses from the customer service team. Feels more like talking to a robot that does not care about you as a customer, just there to provide answers to another number for the business.
One of the lousiest customer service experiences I've ever had.

So far my experience with Canadian Protein has been one of the worst in customer service for a long while. I order a lot online but I don't think I've dealt with any other company this non responsive and completely unconcerned about the problem at hand. I ordered a product from them that I never received, I paid for it to be sent by expedited post and it never arrived, between them and their chosen courier, after rescheduling delivery for three day in a row, the product appears to be in a completely different province from where I requested to be delivered. Their sorry excuse for "customer service" emailed me to say that I may have to wait till the 24th April while they "investigate" I ordered the product on the 22nd March!! I requested a refund and I am still yet to hear back from them nor do I have the product. They may have a good product but the service I've experienced isn't worth it, at all.

I want to give them a perfect score but I also want to provide one criticism.
Shipping is fast, the rewards are... almost fair, the process from ordering to delivery is very clear cut and user friendly. Their products are great.
I just wish their bags were a higher quality. Buying citrulline malate is for example a bit of a headache because the contents are a sponge for humidity, and it sticks to the seal, or the seal breaks, and now your citrulline malate is a humid, sticky, clumpy mess.
I have tried switching to mason jars, but that once broke... I wish Canadian Protein just practiced some discretion on what items are suitable to be in bags, and what would be better suited in a plastic jar.

"My hair stylist was into bodybuilding…"
My hair stylist was into bodybuilding for years, even as I have been. I see him about every month for a haircut, and since the last time I've seen him, I couldn't hardly believe his transformation after starting on Canadian Protein. In a months time, he gained so much size to his arms and shoulders I was amazed and immediately placed an ordered for myself in Chocolate Milkshake which was really good. But my results were even better! Not disappointed at all and I will continue to use it. Excellent product!

"Much improved than last time"
Pros:
Smells amazing and tastes good; I ordered whey concentrate in 2019, double chocolate - it tasted bad, very chalky and the zip lock broke easily. I ordered economy whey in 2023, and to my surprise, taste is significantly better than in 2019. Not sure if something changed in their ingredients, but no complaints taste wise.
Fast shipping, ordered arrived in 2-3 days.
If you can take advantage of discounts, this is probably the cheapest per serving protein in Canada.
Cons:
Upon reviewing the 3rd party test results, it turns out my batch has only 19g (64%) instead of 21g protein per serving. It sounds trivial but there are products of equal or better quality that are cheaper than this for per gram of protein if 19g is what you get in a serving.
Would prefer if company used jars instead of plastic zip bags, they cost peanuts to buy in bulk and provide a much more convenient experience.

Such a poor customer service, don't reccomend that company to anyone. First of all I've ordered some proteins from their website a month before I was leaving the country hoping I'll get it and take it with me. I've been waiting for my order for almost 3 weeks. They told me there's some issues with delivery truck and they are shipping my order again. I contacted them and told them I want to cancel my order because I'm not gonna be in Canada when it's deliver because in a week I'm going home and the plan was to take it with me. They ignored my request and shipped it anyway giving me hard times to deal with that when I was not in Canada anymore. It's finally been delivered after 4 weeks of waiting. It's a second time now with no responds I'm trying to contact them to receive the return shipping label cause I don't want it anymore. There is an option to request for a return shipping label through their website but because I've been waiting for my order for almost a month it says I passed out the 14 days return window time.
Don't recommend that company.

They screwed up my address. I've ordered from them before no problems. they decided to keep the shipping money. bad customer service. typical blame the customer, so they can save their own money from their own mistakes or Canada posts mistakes. looks like ill be going somewhere else from now on

"Made me sick"
I have purchased protein here a few times always been great product and service. Then this last bag I made a shake and found it had a chemical or weird taste I thought nothing of it cause it said new and improved flavour. Shortly after my stomach felt sick. I reach out and told them somethings not right here and told a test will be done and back to me in 24 hrs. It’s been a week and there ignoring my emails and text messages. Not impressed with customer service and the protein I have received as I sit here in the DARK.
