"I joined the program early this year…..."
I joined the program early this year and have seen 3 new countries for a week each in karma properties for free. Joining the program I was skeptical as some reviews werent positive but I came to the conclusion that the people writing bad reviews arent even members themselves and just assume things without knowing or experiencing karma themselves, luckily for me I had spare change in the bank and wasnt worried about the money side of things. If you take holidays and want to experience what the world has to offer this program makes sense and I am very much so looking forward to the next 25 years of Holidays I will experience. Thank you Karma

"Free holiday at Karma..."
Was on the way back from the beach and was met by a young guy who offered us the chance to win some prizes, one was a free holiday in Bali if we go to a presentation and give our honest feedback. As we where loving our first time here Bali we decided yeah why not.
We where taken to the presentation office and had to confirm our details. After a little wait a really nice guy from the UK met us and made us feel at ease straight away, he told us it was his job to show us what they did and if we didn't like it we would shake hands and still get our prizes.
The presentation was ment to be 1 hour but we where so excited with what he told us we had lots of questions, he did his best to answer them all, but to be fair if he didn't know the answer he called over his manager.
So refreshing to speak to a sales guy who doesn't lie.
Anyway after the presentation we decided we wanted to think about things, at no time where we under any pressure and at the end as promised we shook hands and got our gifts.
We where so happy and couldn't believe we won the holiday, can't wait to stay with Karma for free, if it's as good as we where told we may probably buy the membership.
Great job guys

"Lake of Menteith..."
We stayed in Karma Lake of Menteith for the complementary 3 nights through an ad on Facebook. The decor in the room was a bit dated although its getting an upgrade in Jan 2024. Apart from the decor I can't fault the room, it was a good size room. The bed was so comfy and the bathroom was big with an amazing bath and shower.
All the staff were lovely and welcoming, great service, really friendly and helpful. The food was also excellent, really delicious. Including the complementary continental breakfast, had a wide range of food to choose from.
The only downside was at the sales pitch to get us to join up to the membership the guy actually suggested we get a bigger overdraft from bank so we could pay the 10% deposit for the membership or come up with some other way of getting the last £130 hinting that we borrow from someone to make up the 10%!! Then they would cover the cost of the meal that night ( < £60) It's just a pity as the places looked amazing, the cruises sounded spectacular and the cost seemed worth it, just unfortunate that we couldn't afford it and the sales agent practically told us it was a now or never opportunity which I didn't like. However I can't fault the hotel or location and would probably come back in the future for a mini break

"Karma Bali..."
After reading the reviews here regarding scammers, I decided to give my experience of our Bali presentation with Karma.
Me and my wife attended an hours presentation in Seminyak around the end of October this year.
I'm still trying to work out the hard sell reviews and pushy salesman tactics written on here.
We attended for around 2 hours even though we were only asked for an hour.
We met a lovely Indonesian lady who made us feel at ease and made us laugh a lot.
We didn't join due to money, but at NO point did we feel pressured to buy anything.
We loved the concept and wished we had the money to go ahead. Maybe next year!
Anyway I'm thinking people who have posted such bad things on here did not sit through the same presentation that I and others that day did.
We've booked our free week that we won in Phuket next year.
I'll keep you posted how it went

"Thumbs up to Karma..."
Just had a surprisingly great after with Karma, very polite gentleman explained all about their membership club, we found it very informative and at the end we walked away with an iPad, let's say my wife is very happy.

"We have just had a presentation with Karma Group..."
We have just had a presentation with the Karma Group in Bali, the presentation was fine, the consultant treated us very well, and even though we decided to not become a member with them we still were treated well, and received the prize we had won for attending, I have read allot of negative comments regarding peoples experiences but I we did not see unhappy people at this presentation everyone seemed to be enjoying.

"horrible people - horrible company - horrible ethics - horrible properties…..."
We were approached by an Indonesian man outside the mall who told us they had just opened a new hotel, no strings attached would like us to come along for 30 mins and post photos on social media to promote it & in return we’d get ‘prizes’. He repeatedly told us it meant he would be offered a job and it would mean so much to his wife and child, whos school he had not been able to pay for. He kept showing us photos of his family. We got there and the story was very different, After over 2 hours of listening to someone try to hard sell us a timeshare and visit a very tired looking property, we left having had our whole day taken from them. The original man in the street begged us, said we would meet his boss and could we please tell him how good his english is. We just met a bunch of loser sales reps who kept thinking they’d done a good job and looked visibly shocked when I told them their hotels are tired, worn out and didn’t make any financial or logical sense. You can tell they usually target older couples. Genuinely awful experience. So many scammy techniques and lies were told during the process. Like EVERYONE else, we won a 7 nights free stay in somewhere that they’d genuinely have to pay me to stay in. All the properties look dirt.

"Karma Salford Hall..."
We stayed at Karma Salford Hall, it’s a beautiful old listed building, which is of course as you would expect, dated. The room in the Coach House (17) we were shown to was lovely and quite modern, however the external door is twisted and lets light and draft in all around it, we have reported this. We were preparing to settle into our room when guests arrived staying in the room above us, this proved to be too noisy as we could hear very step and every creak, not the guests fault. We knew that we could not stay in that room as we would not be able to sleep as we would continually hear the guests in the room above. I telephoned reception to ask if there was any possibility of being moved to an alternative room, the receptionist was very helpful and found us a room in the main building. This room (6) was nice and clean but dated, as you would expect. Walking around the building, exploring the history revealed just how dated the building and worn furnishings are, old but quirky.
We attended our presentation with Celyn, who was lovely and very knowledgable. Celyn enthusiastically shown us more of Karma resorts and answered any questions we had. Celyn made us aware of the packages and costs entailed in joining Karma membership. These weren’t too bad with the Elite package, as it worked out at around £140 per night, based on the quality of the hotels and locations, this was quite reasonable. Celyn invited Adrian to join us, who offered us an additional deal, which he could include in the price, should we decide we wanted to join. At no time were we pressured into joining, we were given time to discuss on our own and go back to them in person, via email or wattsapp should we have any further queries. Celyn and Adrian both explained that the programme of work at Salford Hall is proving more difficult and lengthier than the group anticipated due to the property being a listed building, I’m sure it will be renovated with sympathy to the building, yet bringing it up to a more modern standard.
We didn’t utilise many of the facilities at Karma Salford Hall, apart from a drink our two in the bar. We were considering dining in the restaurant; however the menu was quite limited and nothing really appealed to us and we are not fussy eaters. Again we advised Celyn as to why we had gone out to dine.
Our personal circumstances meant it wasn’t quite right for us to join at the present time, as we need to be around and available at short notice for our granddaughter.
Thank you for our stay and the opportunity to understand more about the Karma Group.
