"Thankful of a very scenic experience..."

Being a Karma member has given me the wonderful experience of using their RCI property of Club Mahindra, Poovar. The facility itself is beautiful, very grand and located in God's own country, Kerala. We had some concerns if the RCI booking was confirmed with the resort, as the resort itself did not have the booking details till the day of our arrival at the property. RCI was sure to confirm that everything is all set and we just have to relax and enjoy the experience. And that was exactly what we did! The fact that was really concerning was the road to the resort, it has too many potholes that it's a miracle how the car tires are not busted driving to the resort. Also, the resort being very close to nature, you would experience all natural challenges, like the wood from the ceiling was powdered (eaten by termites) and fell on the tables and floors from time to time. This would land up on the suitcases or even tea, if you have not carefully sealed the lid. There were lizard droppings in many places, including the phone! The bathrooms had some stains that housekeeping said cannot be removed. Having said all this, the reception, housekeeping and restaurant staff were all very prompt in responding to our needs and doing what they could. My dad needed some help to navigate the bath, being constrained after a stroke. The staff went the extra mile to find a chair that was suitable for the needs and made sure all were comfortable. The activities provided by the resort was very good. We personally enjoyed the boat ride. I was surprised that the resort did not have a gym, however, the environment was so pleasant that I took the opportunity to take brisk walks in the early morning. The facility also has a lot of eagle sightings, they have a coop for goose and hen that walk around the facility and have their own sweet spot to feed and bath. It's a great spot if you are a nature lover and want to experience the cool breeze of Kerala and a well set up resort.

Our experience was very good in Karma Song Hoi in Hoi An Vietnam. The staff from the very start were attentive and helpful. Even though the resort is not big and not the most modern it was very clean and the staff were always cleaning. It was quiet while we were there but the food was good and they had functions to get guests together. Would go back there in a flash.
The Karma rep was very helpful and showed us how to use the web site better.

"Disliked being harassed by karma…..."

Disliked being harassed by karma salesperson to upgrade membership.
Ambiguous description of where accomadation was in relation to hotel and its facilities, if we had known that we needed a buggy to get around the resort we would not of bothered. We assumed we would of been in the hotel complex. It was not made known to us beforehand that we would need to negotiate stairs and distances between facilities. Fridge kept icing up. Also not informed the accomadation was backing on to a boat yard with all its repair work etc going on. I hope our next karma holidays are a significant improvement.
Best part of holiday was nothing to do with Karma but trips and meals organised by ourselves.

We had a great stay at Karma Sitabani.. Though it was a one day stay but it uplifts us with Scenic views Great ambiance and Good services

Ron and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karma Panalee. Our room was beautifully bright and clean. The pool just outside our door was just wonderful which we spent quite a bit of time enjoying. The staff were very accommodating Pa particularly. Breakfast staff were wonderful and we enjoyed the fresh fruit and omelettes on a daily basis. The beach access across the road was very good. Quite a few walks on the shore line and coffees in the cafes. We enjoyed Fisherman’s Wharf and the food markets were great. Love Thai food.

A big shout-out to Payas Pal and his team. They have truly achieved the heights of Customer delight. Right from accomodating my Mom (a senior citizen) to arranging a surprise birthday cake for me... everything was just perfect! Payas ensured that our stay was as relaxing as possible. Thank you team Royal Palms! Will definitely visit again...

"Moderately good place..."

Good place, to stay but restaurant prices are not value for money.Staff is excellent, very helpful,travel desk is good.
Problem is with restaurant,not value for money.Restaurant staff has been excellent.
I have many complaints about the poor efficiency of the management,but it's ok as it's a new property and management is struggling to keep guests comfortable.
They turn of heater from 1.0pm to 5.0pm,that is ok,but when they turn off the heater from 1.0am to 5.0am is not acceptable,it's very cold,how management does this plan is unacceptable, inconvenience.

"Karma Lakewood, a beautiful resort..."

I recently visited Karma Lakewood for 2 nights. The resort is in remote location on the bank of Koyna backwaters. An excellent location with mesmerizing views. The stay is awesome. I suggest to visit once.
