Well, he’s only gone and done it again…!
Matt was recommended to us, and I am very happy to confirm that Matt Shurmer is indeed ‘the highest quality automatic driving instructor in the Orpington area’ with the very important personal touch putting everyone at ease.

Matt has worked tirelessly with my eldest daughter Milly to help her achieve her ultimate dream goal of complete independence, after the frustrations of COVID and what we all believed to be an unfair test failure Milly has now achieved her goal and gained her license all thanks to Matt Shurmer!

Matt has now successfully guided both of my daughters to the road, skilfully providing them with just the right amount of confidence to go it alone, but making sure they are not over confident whilst gaining their all important experience over their first few years.

I would 100% recommend Matt Shurmer to everyone, always on time, honest & reliable !

"Absolutely blown away with Matt and his teaching skills"

Driving lessons in Swanley BR8. I was absolutely blown away with Matt and his teaching skills. I passed my test first time with 0 faults – something I never thought possible. Matt brings a lovely mix of friendliness & professionalism. When I started learning to drive I started in a manual car and I felt really unconfident. I spoke to Matt to say I wasn’t sure if I didn’t enjoy driving or if it was because I couldn’t get along with the clutch. Matt took me out for a trial to see how I was in an automatic and we got along instantly and I felt confident learning to drive with him.

Matt has a true talent for teaching people how to drive, he breaks everything down into easily manageable chunks so he doesn’t overwhelm you and gets you to repeat it until you’re confident. He didn’t teach me to pass my test, he taught me to be a confident driver and I couldn’t have done it without him.

Matt is also great value for money, the knowledge he gives you and the extra’s e.g. help passing your theory test are really useful. I have no doubt if I hadn’t learnt to drive with Matt I would have given up learning to drive.

"This is a great driving school"

This is a great driving school. Everyone I dealt with leading up to my first lesson was extremely helpful. Scott was my instructor throughout and he made the whole experience so much easier than I had imagined. Not only was his knowledge on point but he was great at knowing exactly where my little faults were and helped me iron these out with no problems. I managed to pass my test within 4 months which was great and this was solely down to Scott and his brilliant teaching.
